May 10, 2010The clear plastic on my battery cover (over the camera) has a crack going right through the line of sight for the camera. Anyone know of a good place to get a (hopefully cheap) replacement rear cover/battery cover/phone back?

Dec 29, 2009At complete fault of my own in a move I should have known better than to do, my phone decided to hang out for a few minutes on the bottom of my oven, face up, while it was on at 375F. The phone is actually surprisingly great - everything still works, makes calls, cam and rear speaker seem unaffected - but the back battery cover is messed up now. Because I'm optimistic and dumb, I went to Sprint to see if I could get a replacement door from them. No go. Then I checked HTC's website, and they don't seem to sell anything for this phone at all (exaggeration). Ultimately I plan to wrap my Hero in one of those jelly cases, but I already own one and I'm away on vacation and refuse to by another. Still, despite being wrapped up incognito, I'll be secretly bothered by my less-than-perfect phone, so I really want to order another one.

Nov 16, 2009I'm using a black htc hero and it got scratched recently. I'm thinking about getting a replacement cover but I've been told that the only ones available immediately are "urban brown covers" which I presume to be mocha covers. I've yet to see a mocha hero (other than in pics online) so I don't know if my hero will look weird with a mocha battery case. Is the color difference very obvious?

Apr 14, 2010Any idea where I can buy a replacement housing for my Galaxy. Works fine but an accident had left it scratched up and missing the charger port cover. So basically I want to fit a whole new shell on the thing. Screen is scratch-free, but battery cover scratched up and the bit of plastic holding the charger flap snapped so it will need a whole shell. Looked everywhere! An online Samsung repair place wants me to send it in but can't give me a price.

I'll accidentally slide it off when pulling my phone out of my pocket all the time... and sometimes it gets pulled off in my pocket so I take the phone out and the cover falls on the ground I really don't want to put a case on my phone just to hold the damn battery cover on.

The last time it fell off while I was walking and talking in the street and I couldn't find it to put it back together. So now i have a droid without the battery cover. Apr 26, 2010I'm onto my 2nd Droid.The first one had the same battery cover issue as everyone appears to be talking about.very loose, comes off in your pocket, etc.Now the new one has an entirely different battery cover issue.one of the door prongs doesn't appear to "catch" on one of the holes on the back (top right hole, closest to the USB connector).The net result is that the door stays on, but this corner of the battery cover sticks out/up.Anyone have the same issue?Fixes?

I emailed them about 7days ago explained that i bought a droid and it has a loose battery cover and just received my replacement cover today. Very fast and responsive service if you ask me.

Nov 19, 2009First droid had an imperfection on the glass screen that caused a black spot (prolly 3-4 pixels big) on a white background in which I could not fix because it was part of the glass. Second droid had dust infiltrating on the sides leading to a distraction when viewing the screen. Now, my third droid has such a loose battery cover that it comes off in my pocket a lot. Am I too picky or do I just have bad luck? Really don't want to go to the verizon store again for a loose battery cover but I think that is a legitmate problem, and btw I have tried a different battery cover and that isn't the problem, it must be what the cover hooks onto inside the phone that is causing it to be loose.

Dec 10, 2009The battery status is horrible. Why does it look like it's at 50% when at 30%? I downloaded an app that puts the percentage in the status bar, but it's at the top left in notifications. Is there an app that replaces the current icon with one with a percentage or, at least, is more accurate? I doubt there is. I didn't find anything on Marketplace or through search.

Nov 17, 2010There are some minor scratches in the window that the camera lens uses to take pictures on the battery cover. Even if I don't get all of them (some MIGHT be too deep, its hard to tell whether my fingernail catches or not in that little area), it would still be better if I could get some of them out. Any way I can do this without harming the lens even more?The scratches are on the outside of the cover, btw, not the tiny circle opening on the inside.

Dec 16, 2009Well, it was bound to happen. Dropped my Eris getting out of the car last night. Sitting on my lap, forgot about it, stood up, and heard it hit the pavement. The battery door got some scratches, luckily nothing else happened.
Does anyone know any sites that are selling OEM battery replacement doors? I might try to go to Verizon today and see if they have one, (highly doubt it) because these scratches are killing me.

Dec 8, 2009I have had my eris for a week now and noticed that it has developed a clicking noise on the right side of the battery cover. Whenever i hold it in a vertical position, you can here it click. You can actually see the batt cover move just a little bit. Is anyone else having this issue. I know that it is a small thing to complain abt, but that clicking is annoying.

Aug 12, 2010Finally got my replacement EVO yesterday was all excited until I just noticed the battery door cover does not fit tight! There is a gap along the whole right side. big enough for dirt and dust to get into the phone. The build date is 7/05/10. Also, the camera lens is not centered in the cover hole. There no red showing on the bottom of the hole and a big red gap on the top of the hole. I cannot believe HTC lets phones like this out the door! Where is the QA/QC?

May 14, 2010Does anyone have a problem with how the battery cover fits? If I squeeze the phone on the opposite side of the volume button towards the bottom of the phone, the case squeeks and flexs inwards. Being the OCD person that I am, I am constantly sqeeking the case and I am pretty sure that I am going to break it soon. I want to take the phone in and have it replaced but would like to just have the cover replaced rather than the whole phone.
