I can't figure out how to back up all my apps and data with it?
I even downloaded the busy box like it said to do but still I can't seem to find a way to get to the actual backing up process. Is this compatible with My current root?
I have connectbot also, but forgot what to type in there to find out if I am rooted correctly. I do have livewallpapers.
i have a non rooted samsung moment, & i want to backup my apps, even my paid apps, but i cant seem to find a way to do a backup unless my phone is rooted, any ideas or ways i can backup all my apps w/o rooting my phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just noticed while upgrading from the "pulled" 2.2 to the "official" 2.2 some of my purchased apps are no longer available from the market. Cannot be found at all. Someone said that Google has to approve every new ROM to get complete access to the market. I was just wondering if it is I who have the glitch or if anyone else has the same problems. I have heard from two other sources (in Sweden) who have the same issues.

View 4 Replies View RelatedNow, it is the holder of the smartphone HTC One (you know, no SD card slot), and from the beginning there is a problem with the function called "Protected archive". If you try to select it and other miscellaneous copy is returned in dyku message "Sorry, the operation failed".
HTC is ROOT, S-Off. I use a ROM called "ViperOne v1.1.1," but on other ROMs is the same problem.
Changing the backup directory in the preferences of the Titanium Backup does not work. I tried the method described here: [URL]... but it also does not give the result and does not change the situation.
Other features TitaniumBackup working properly, except for the protection of files: (((
What to do to be able to protect (selected) copies of the program TitaniumBackupPRO? I do not have the support to count - they do not write off
When i click on batch, then run to backup my apps it jumps back to the Backup/Restore screen with all the apps, nothing gets backed up. I have backed up before with Titanium and it worked. I reinstalled Busybox, didn't help. If i uninstall and reinstall will i lose all the things i did like freeze apps etc ? When i try to update through the marketplace it says installation error, package file was not signed correctly.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got 2.1 installed and love the difference (didn't used the leaked versions). After flashing and reinstalling the apps using MyBackup, I am left disappointed that the data that goes with the apps didn't make it. I am missing all my Mileage app entries, Storm8's long list of game data, etc. Is there a backup app that would have saved all the application data?

View 4 Replies View RelatedFigured I'd start a new topic. After upgrading to 2.1 I noticed some paid apps that I purchased were not showing up. Someone mentioned that protected apps will not appear until the eris is registered with the 2.1 android market. Just a heads up if you decide to upgrade early.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just had a potential customer tell me they couldn't find my app in the market. So I did some research and it turns out it's because I have copy protection turned on. Seems like a bad idea to turn it off, but I don't want to miss potential customers either. What do you all do in this situation?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI upgraded from a Hero to the Desire yesterday. It's all great apart from a few niggles, but one big one in particular. I've lost half of my paid for apps I signed it to my Google account upon setting up the phone as normal. Everything seemed to work: Contacts and Calendar synchronized just fine, not so the Apps. The market seemed to recognize half of my paid apps, allowing me to download them for free again, but not the other half. I even did an App resore from my Hero using 'My backup' all to no avail. I'm still missing paid apps. They aren't even showing up in the Market any more, and if I download the free version and then try to upgrade it says there's no such App. Current paid for Apps that I'm missing and can't get back are:

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt appears that copy protected apps are now available for us Eris users who have the leaked versions. Just thought I'd let you know. So, if you went to a leaked version and miss those apps that suddenly disappeared from the Market, go check to see if they are there.
View 27 Replies View RelatedBe aware folks Rooting your Evo makes copy-protected apps "disappear" from the Market. I never had this problem on my rooted N1, however once I rooted Evo - it cannot see apps like NYTimes, bTunes, and basically any other app that's copy protected. I have read on XDA-forums that this has something to do with Market being affiliated with 'build.prop', but unclear as to what the fix for this will be, if any Right now, I am thinking of going back to stock because of this..
View 6 Replies View RelatedProtected apps still not showing up. Same as the leaked version. WTF! I have heard on the the leaked version that it worked after a while, I hope this is the case with this one.
View 28 Replies View RelatedFinally. I guess no need to download the official?
View 1 Replies View RelatedDo not get me wrong - I love the Android, especially the vast amount of apps to choose from. But has anyone noticed how much more vibrant and polished the Palm Pre apps are as opposed to Android apps? Take the weather apps for example (Weather Bug or Weather Channel). They are so much brighter and complex on the Pre. I know the Pre apps are far less in number, but the ones that are there seem much more polished. Am I crazy, or does anyone else notice this?
View 36 Replies View RelatedI'm still a little confused as to what the situation is here. With a rooted Android phone, are all non-free market apps unavailable, or just ones with copy-protection? For non-free, un-protected apps (are there any?), can they be purchased directly and installed on the phone without going through the market?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to download the "Desktop Visualizer" (a free app) but it wasn't showing up in the market, and no matter how I tried (QR codes, direct links, appbrain), I couldn't get it to download. Turns out it's copy protected, which seems to be the problem. I'm running 2.1 on my milestone (rooted) but I've googled a bit, and other rooted people don't seem to have this problem. Does anyone know what's causing it, and, if known, how to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe micro usb port on my phone has gotten loose over the last few days, and so T-mo is sending me out a replacement phone. I would like to completely backup my phone (ideally to my dropbox folder) so I can easily restore all of my apps and settings on the new vibrant when it comes. I already have Astro, and have backed up my apps to my SD card. But I would like something more comprehensive, say the way Blackberry Desktop software can do a complete back up from one phone and restore it all to a different phone. What backup apps do you use?

Fast downloads and the Android Market is great. how to remove apps that came preloaded ie: weather channel, bejeweled demo?
