Samsung Epic 4G :: TwLauncher Won't Let Clear Defaults
Sep 2, 2010My "TwLauncher" will not let me clear the defaults so I can change it back to the samsung display, Is there anything I can do to restore this setting?

Jun 12, 2010How i clear the defaults for apps that don't show up in settings>applications>manage applications? i have the regular and 3d galleries installled, and when i opened the stock gallery, it asked me to choose between gallery gallery and gallery camera when veiwing. i selected gallery gallery and set to default but now when i open a folder, it always opens the 3d gallery folder. i'd like to change this.

I recently started using google voice (today), and I want to use the app smspopup so I can view my sms messages without opening up the google voice app. Even though smspopup is supposed to work with google voice, it is not. I checked out the smspopup FAQ's, and it said to clear the defaults for the android messaging apps in the manage applications menu. I searched for it but it wasn't there, so I can't clear any defaults.

Nov 11, 2010So I recently attempted to use the samsung twc or tw launch (forget which is which), while i was using Launcher Pro i renamed the TWlauncher3.0.apk file, which then started to give me a lot of twlauncher force close error messages. I wasn't able to "remove" or "rename" the .odex file until later. I was finally able to rename the .odex file and I started to use the new TWLauncher (i believe the floating copy out there is from the Captivate), this has worked numerous of times before until today. After i restarted my phone, i did the mistake and selected to use TWLauncher as my default home screen (check box) and now it keeps on crashing so every time I turn on my phone i get a black screen, the only thing I'm able to view is the drop down menu. I can hold the home key which brings up the Task Manager.

Jan 3, 2010I have my Behold rooted and was running open home just fine. I saw a lot of people having better performance running GDE, so, I uninstalled open home and that was when all hell broke loose. TWLauncher keeps crashing the phone and I cannot get the phone to a home screen. I tried the recovery mode, but nothing is working. I can't bring it up in adb because I can't get to the settings of the phone to set it up to be seen.

Then it asks complete action using :flikie movie player or video player. I check use by default for this action and select video player. Then the video will play. But everytime I go to a new video, it asks me all over again and doesn't remember my default preferences. wtf?
