I have never used android before getting the Epic so please don't flame me on this one. Is it normal for the browser to never end on its own? When I exit out of the browser I have to kill it from task manager every time.

I was able to do this before i think but i can't remember how. How do you switch between the browser UA (Mobile, Desktop, iPhone)? I can't find the setting anymore! I'm sorry if there is already a post on this, but i couldn't find it at all.

View 4 Replies View RelatedA few years back on my Dell Axim Microsoft PocketPC, I was able to tell my browser to not show I am a mobile device when surfing web sites.
Example, when I go to Ebay.com the web browser re-directs me to m.Ebay.com which is the mobile version of the web site.
Im using the standard browser, when I go into Settings > Advanced Settings -- Website Settings- View advanced settings for individual websites is greyed out
Does the Epic have a spell checker that works w/ email, text, & Internet browser?

I'm pretty sure my home screen would do landscape with keyboard closed the first couple of days I had the phone and now it wont do it unless the keyboard is out. Anyone else have the same issue?

A phone that I actually have been waiting for ever since the IPhone came out because I knew the technology would be where I wanted it to be for the most part (speed, HD, capacity, upgrade ability/customization. Has anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?
