Its a FREE PC program that will auto convert video to the correct codec & framerate of the Epic 4G (& other devices). The program also syncs music & pics as well. View 16 Replies View RelatedSo I got doubleTwist hoping for a nice easy sync to get all of my music from iTunes onto my phone. The problem is that I haven't purchased songs on itunes in over a year and I guess now they have something called iTunesPlus, which costs $0.30/song to upgrade to (and remove DRM) and doubleTwist can't convert my iTunes purchases to a playable format due to DRM protection. Is there another music sync service for Android that you guys would recommend that can help me actually put the music that I already paid for once on my phone? I'm not interested in giving Jobs another $182 just to listen to music I already paid for.

I'm looking to copy selected albums to my phone but during the sync process I'd like them to be re-encoded to a lower bit rate so I can fit more on the phone. I'd like this done during the sync so I don't have to keep a second, lower bitrate copy of everything.WMP12 claims to be able to do this but, not surprisingly for a piece of Microsoft software, it doesn't actually work so I'm looking for something else that can do it. Is there anything else out there?Also, nearly all media managing software constantly just refers to syncing "playlists". I don't ever use playlists as I tend to listen to whole albums in order so I select artist then album, no need for a "playlist". Can I use these things to copy across whole albums without the need to create a playlist of that album and use that to sync?

View 8 Replies View Relatedeverytime i sync with DT and my Evo, the pics come out small. for instance, i have hi res pics, 4mb perfect pics from my wedding. when i sync, the pics only show up 1/2 the screen size. when i expand it out, it looks like crap. there are no settings within DT that do anything to pics or music or anything. just where your library is. thats it. does anyone have any tips for me? i have like 20gb of pics i used to sync with itunes and my iphone. turned out to be bewteen 3-4gb once they were resized to the iphone specs (within itunes obviously). i am looking to do this exact same thing. i want all my pics, but the 20gb will obviously not fit on the 8gb SD card, nor a 16 if i had to buy.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI work in IT at my company and support mobile devices and their connection to our exchange server.One of our employees got the Epic 4g and she continues to have issues with ActiveSync not downloading emails right away. For example, this morning she had about 25 emails come in and on her Epic it showed the last email being from yesterday. I tried to manually refresh the email on the phone and it did not download any new emails. I rebooted the phone and it started downloading all her emails. This is not the first time this has happened. This is a normal occurrence for her. It will not download anything for a few hours to a few days then download everything at once.I know it is not an issue on our side as we have about 20 iPhones and about 15 Android devices working fine including my Evo. So far, she is the only one in our company with an Epic however we have about 3 employees that are about to leave their Blackberries and iPhones for the Epic and I have told them to hold of until we resolve this issue.

How can I or is there a setting that turns off this auto open of the next email after I delete an email? After I delete an email, I would just likt it to go back to my Inbox list and NOT open the next email automatically.

View 15 Replies View RelatedOriginally, when I got my Moment, I had it set up to Auto-Sync my Gmail, Contacts and Calendar. I noticed (especially when managing contacts on my phone) that when I made any changes to a contact, the auto-sync would begin, in turn, freezing up the whole contact app/module. It would freeze for about 30 seconds until the sync was complete.
This would also happen with the Gmail app. So I turned off auto-sync a couple weeks ago, and every time I go into Gmail, I just go to Menu, Refresh. But it's a pain when I get a call saying, "Hey, did you get my email?". So I'm thinking of using IMAP for Gmail now, but I'd rather find out if anyone else is having this issue, or if there's a workaround.
I installed CyanogenMod 11.0 for Samsung Express ATT (SGH-I437) last week without any issue and the ROM has been performing without any issues...until yesterday. I don't know what happened, but now 'auto sync' has been disabled for all my email accounts (Exchange and Gmail) and I have to manually sync my email. I know this is a first-world problem, but because the ROM seems relatively stripped-down, I can't find a means to turn-on auto sync again.

I am a newbie and this is my first smart phone.I love the Epic everything works perfectly after I exchanged the first one for the back button issue.My question is I am listening to streaming radio in the car, through a cassette adapter that is plugged into the headphone jack on the epic and everything is cool. when I get a phone call - The radio goes off and I can accept the call, however here is the problem.When I answer the call I can hear the caller through the car speakers (makes sense) but they cannot hear me, I try pressing the speaker button and still they cannot hear me. I think the Samsung programmers have assumed that I have headphones plugged in with an attached mic and not a straight output jack.How do I answer calls in this situation?I am not willing to unplug the cassette adapter when cruising down the interstate at great speed.Is there a setting or a device (bluetooth or other?) that will enable what I need to accomplish.CLOSED - I just bought a $10 cable with a built in mic from Best Buy.

If so, then list your car brand and model. How did you do it? Are the songs all MP3? from Itunes? Are the songs in any particular folder on the microSD card?
Me: 2010 Prius NAVI...the car audio can only read 3 songs out of many (all from Itunes). I do have 2 songs from Amazon MP3, but they are not read either. The same 3 songs over and over again. My phone is in "mass storage" mode.
