Does anyone know of a way to keep the browser on the last viewed page when you open it again after closing it? I know I can go to history, but there should be a way I just can't seem to find.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got my monthly bill from the crooks over at AT&T.With my iPhone, I complained about paying $.20/TXT MSG, so when I got my cappy the rep suggested I get a 200 msg package for $5/mnth - OK, that will save me some money.So now I get my bill, and have $30 in extra TXT MSG charges.Something called ICQ IM in other words Interner chat like AOL instant messenger, gmail chat, yahoo IM, MSN messenger are all rolled into the chat/TXT MSGing category and appropriately charged. F'N CROOKS.What the hell is my $30/mnth unlimited data plan for then?This is the classic nickel and diming our parents warned us about.It's always blown my mind that they charge extra for TXT MSGs in the first place.Think about it, each letter we text is 1 bit of data. So take the word "HELLO" - that's 6 bits of data. If I spoke the word "HELLO" over a digital voice connection it would be several hundred Kilobytes.These crooks are just exploiting the tween texting revolution and we all have to pay.
View 25 Replies View RelatedFor whatever reason every browser I try reloads tabs when I leave the browser. It's REALLY annoying - I'm stuck on edge most of the time, and finding out that my tabs suddenly reload just because I switched to twitter for a second.
I tried to pretty much disable the LMK, and it still did this...
I tried Chrome, Browser Plus, stock ICS browser, Dolphin and Opera (which does this slightly less often) Last time I had this problem was on my old tablet with only 256 MB of RAM. (Which still did this less often than the Note on ICS)
Every time this happened, I had at least 120 MB of ram free. Seriously, the note has a full gigabyte of ram, and yet this happens.
This doesn't happen to me on GB.
Is there anything I can do to make browsing normal again? Like, exclude a browser from getting killed, or something? I'm using a Galaxy Note..
I have the Auto-Brightness turned off and am using the Power Control widget but from time to time, the settings on Power Control goes to min. without my actually touching the control (its on a different home screen, not the main one, so its not that Im touching it by accident).

View 14 Replies View RelatedI have the tronsmart CX-919 mini pc running 4.2 and there is an issue with the browser reverting back to the home page or the previous page. When I try to display a webpage on our intranet it reverts back to the homepage or previous page after about 3 hours. I need it to display constantly. I read somewhere that it was a Download Manager issue and disabling it would work but I can't find where to disable it. Also it was stated that Flash was an issue but i tried uninstalling it and it just reinstalled itself and the problem kept occurring. I just want to display a page in a browser and for it to stay on the screen (full screen) until I manually navigate away from it. I plan to leave it on for weeks at a time.

My bluetooth headset(altech lansing backbeat) keeps loseing its media mode whenever i reboot or connect another headset. I have to do a complete repair cycle with the headset powered off then back on inorder to get the phone to reconize the headset as media mode ready. Has anyone else had this issue?

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy Captivate's browser will crash / shut down, upon attempting to launch a web page.
This occurs with random pages, it happens about once out 20 times I go to load any web page.
It does not happen on the all pages, just certain pages. (I've failed to note which pages so far) When it does happen, if I try to open that same web page again again, it crashes. If I immediately try another web page it's fine.
My Captivate is original, w/ver 2.1 Eclair, not rooted (yet) and otherwise operates very well. So far it's the only bug I've had.
I had a black background on my captivate and when I turned my phone on earlier the home screen was a carbon fiber look but the app screen is black. How do I get the home page to be black also? Phone is rooted and cant remember how I got it black origionally.

After one of the recent Launcherpro updates I'm having this issue where the window pops up asking which launcher I want to use when hitting the home button. It's not remember to default to launcherpro even when clicking the default box. It seems to reset after holding the home button to bring up the recent apps window. Every time now without fail. Can you test it out to see how widespread this bug is? Please list your phone and rom.

I recently tried again but its still not up. I have no 3g or 2g (edge) I can still receive texts and call but nothing to do with the browser. An example gizmodo.com, it only happens with the full version of the site not the mobile version. It appears to be javascript related, because when I disable javascript the page will load without crashing. This happens both in the standard browser and in DolphinHD. I also have my itouch with me and after it connects with hotel server, a sign-on screen comes up and I enter the server password.
Can't get the Captivate to supply a sign-on screen. Is there some other way to enter the server password that was supplied to me?
Has anyone found a way to eliminate the default zoom? There should be a setting to turn it off, but I cant find it...what is the point of it when there is pinch-zoom?
