Samsung Captivate :: SIM Card Removed - Reboot Phone
Sep 10, 2010I have the phone for about 2 weeks now, with 3-4 hours daily use. In the middle of a call this morning, it went silent and when turned on again, it displayed "SIM card removed. Reboot phone". I took the card out and put back in 3 times, but it still happens. Wi-Fi is working, phone is still running apps. I tried to press the SIM card tightly while trying to connect, but it's no good. A quick Google search does not show many people with this problem. Anyone has a quick solution before I call ATT or Samsung?

Aug 28, 2010My Captivate's browser will crash / shut down, upon attempting to launch a web page.
This occurs with random pages, it happens about once out 20 times I go to load any web page.
It does not happen on the all pages, just certain pages. (I've failed to note which pages so far) When it does happen, if I try to open that same web page again again, it crashes. If I immediately try another web page it's fine.
My Captivate is original, w/ver 2.1 Eclair, not rooted (yet) and otherwise operates very well. So far it's the only bug I've had.
HTC Incredible :: Copy - Search Function Been Removed From The Browser In Froyo?
Oct 22, 2010Has the copy/search function been removed from the browser in froyo or did it never have it? When i copy in the browser, I only see the option to share or copy to the clipboard. I have the HTC mytouch slide 3g, running 2.1 and when I copy in that browser, I have the option to search but I don't see that with the Incredible.

Oct 10, 2010I was using my captivate last night and the 3g and browser suddenly turned off. I restarted the phone several times and let is sit all last night and all of today. It appears to be javascript related, because when I disable javascript the page will load without crashing. This happens both in the standard browser and in DolphinHD. I also have my itouch with me and after it connects with hotel server, a sign-on screen comes up and I enter the server password.

I have set the refresh interval at 30 minutes. and notifications checked (active). i have chosen messages, Pokes, Friend Requests and event invites all checked green under notification settings. For some reason, whenever i receive a friend request, i dont get notified under my notification bar. I always see that when i open the application. Mar 27, 2012S2 i777...a friend of mine bought it for me from us and i unlocked it using the code purchased from ebay..my problem is that i rooted my device to remove bloatware from the device and accidently removed samsung stock weather app(accuweather)completely..after that i unrooted my phone to stock stage as it was at the time my friend bought it but the weather app is no where to be found on my device....i tried to find for a solution to reinstall that app..i found the apk from here but when i try to install it gives me an error "Application not installed".
