View 1 RepliesI poked around the site (here and XDA) and didn't find anything that said there was an issue with syncing a bluetooth headset(s). I'm not running any lagfixes (at least nothing enabled via rom-manager for now) and I have a jawbone headset. Has anyone else had this problem, and could I have borked bluetooth with an app/user-data restore (Titanium)?

View 8 Replies View RelatedGot my captivate today, loving it so far, first experience with Android. I was on the phone with my GF today, talking on my bluetooth headset and I was trying to browse the web while we were talking. My connection (WiFi) was being very flaky, extremely slow, or just plain unable to load anything. Turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on, it refused to connect to my network.
When I got off the phone with her, I tried to connect to WiFi again and it worked perfectly fine, full speed. Made a phone call to test it out, same result, WiFi extremely slow or not working at all. At that point I thought there was something wrong with the phone being unable to make a phone call and use WiFi at the same time. Then I decided to try disconnecting my BT headset and it worked perfectly. Right now I'm streaming a video off youtube with a phone call connected, but the second I turn my BT headset on the connection dies.
I am a new SE user and am still getting to grips with using the phone's features. Could anyone advise how to transfer a call from a headset back to the phone and phone to headset? Whilst I am asking inane questions, is it possible to use the phone i.e. return to menu when in a call?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI just bought a Behold 2 and was trying to use my plantronics 520 headset, but I turned it up all the way and it wasn't very loud and the person that I was talking to said he was hearing static. I have been using this headset with my Blackberry 8900 with no problems. Is this a software problem? May be when we get upgraded to 2.0 or 2.1 this will be fixed? or should I try something else? anyone know what works best with this phone?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone is having trouble transferring my contacts from the address book to the cars Nav system. Oddly enough, it worked once and never again. For some reason, it is only able to transfer 2 random contacts off of my phone, and stops there. For reference, it worked perfectly with my Blackberry and other non-Android phones. Here is some information:
Phone: HTC Evo 4g
Software version: 1.32.651.6
Car: 2010 BMW 650i (comes with iDrive)
I have tried un-pairing and re-pairing the phone and it hasn't behaved any differently. I noticed the phone recognizes the car as a Bluetooth Headset, which I suspect may be causing a problem. I have also tried changing the phones Bluetooth name. When I look at my Blackberry, it says the BMW supports the following services: Handsfree, Object Push, AVRCP. The Blackberry recognizes the car to be different from a normal headset.
I have no problem sending a file from my computer to my phone via bluetooth. However I cant seem to figure out how to send files from my phone to my computer. I tried using bluetooth file transfer from the app market but its not working.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Motorola H375 bluetooth headset which works great with the phone however even if I leave the phone on the table while a call is active on the headset the screen will NOT turn off after 30 seconds like it does outside of a call. If I put the phone up to my ear when on the headset it will because of the proximity sensor but that defeats the purpose of the bluetooth headset.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhich Bluetooth headset are you currently using? I have the Motorola H12 headset but it sucks with the moment. Which one do you currently use or have used and what type of results are you getting?
View 6 Replies View RelatedThere has been one thread talking about Bluetooth headsets and it did not receive many replies. There have been a zillion threads about the Moment's difficulty in connecting via Bluetooth ("Paired but not connected").
If your Bluetooth headset works great with the Moment (e.g. connects consistently, good sound quality, etc.) Please post the manufacturer and model in this thread. Likewise, if your headset stinks, that is probably good information also, so post that too.
I have a Jawbone bluetooth headset that worked great on the Moment with the 1.5. Updated and now, when I press the call button on the headset, sometimes nuance voice control will open and ask "Say A Command"... i do so, and most of the time it will just go back to the home page. Sometimes it hears the command and will ask to confirm it. At that point, it just stays there, even after i say "Yes" 55 times, and then goes back to home screen. If I manually dial the number it will route it to the headset and all is well with the world. But driving, this is a pain and crashing is a really sucky option. Anyone else have anything like this happening? Any ideas? I am sure this issue has been beaten like a slow horse but I am tired of swerving all over the road trying to make a call.....
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy wife has the Moment and uses a Jabra BT250v.
She has only had two major issues with the phone ever.
Other than the usual bluetooth just not connecting and needing repair every once in a while, her biggest issue has been when she turns on the headset, the phone automatically dials the last person she called. She has to catch it and stop the dialing.
Do all headsets do this? I did not see anyone else posting this problem.
Anyone have a rec for a good one for the Moment? Perhaps a Jabra or Blue Ant?
(Her second problem is sometimes her face activates the mute while on a call)
Other than that, she loves the phone and I am very impressed with it myself.
I am looking for a decent bluetooth headset for my phone in the price range of $25 to $40. Also my past experience with bluetooth headset is that if you put your phone in the pocket the reception gets very poor.

Is there anyway to use an Android phone as a bluetooth headset for the Galaxy Tab (or any Android tablet for that matter)? im planning on getting T-Mobile's prepaid Android 2.2 phone and i want to keep my minute usage down by using Google Voice on the tablet. And since they both have bluetooth capabilities it should be possible to use it in this manner, right? I do not want to use one of those hideous, uncomfortable bluetooth headsets because im already going to have a bluetooth device (the phone) with me that im more comfortable using. Is there any way to do this or an app that enables this functionality?

I bought a new WEP870 Bluetooth headset. I am very happy with its performance when I am making phone calls.
But the issue starts when I try to listen to music from my samsung. I can't hear any music although the phone and headsety are seeing each other. Can anyone help me on this?
I currently am able to connect my android phone to my computer (via bluetooh) to transfer files but I want to be able to use my computer headset to receive/dial calls to/from my phone. This would be just like I can already do in my car over bluetooth.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI Just got galaxy a few days ago, that's my first android and I'm really happy with it (especially after flashing to drakaz's ROM). But, there's one issue though: Since I'm using a motorcycle as my main vehicle, I'd like to mount the phone above the gauges and use my H350 For voice navigation when using GPS/phone calls/music.
(GPS navigation is the main reason for doing this). I've managed to pair the headset with my phone, under settings. I see my H350 with the following status: "Connected to phone audio". But still, except making phone calls, I can't hear music/any other audio with my bluetooth headset, it comes out of the phone's speaker instead. Is there any workaround/hidden setting I didn't see? I'm using "waze" for GPS btw.
I have 9xxBackBeat headset. I connect my headphones to phone, but still the sound comes from the phone speakers. Why?

is it just me or does the droid not like my bluetooth headset? its paired and everything and the phone is connected but the headset is not being used. i tried accessing the voice dial on my headset and nothing happens i try calling someone on my droid and the sound comes out of the speakers not the headset.
