Galaxy S phones make a good music player and added 5.1 channel sound is a great plus. I am sure the included headphones sound good. but if I need to buy a separate headphones, can you recommend me a good sounding but inexpensive, below $20, earbuds type headphones, or even better if it has mic for phone calls.

Can anyone point me to a car charger I could use for this phone? I'd prefer a plain old USB charger so that we could use different cables for my wife's iPhone too.
I ordered a few of the cheapos over at monoprice.com and they are a no go. They say charging but are actually draining the batter instead.

I'm not running any lagfixes (at least nothing enabled via rom-manager for now) and I have a jawbone headset. Has anyone else had this problem, and could I have borked bluetooth with an app/user-data restore (Titanium)?

I was on the phone with my GF today, talking on my bluetooth headset and I was trying to browse the web while we were talking. My connection (WiFi) was being very flaky, extremely slow, or just plain unable to load anything. Turned wifi off and when I tried to turn it back on, it refused to connect to my network.
When I got off the phone with her, I tried to connect to WiFi again and it worked perfectly fine, full speed. Made a phone call to test it out, same result, WiFi extremely slow or not working at all. At that point I thought there was something wrong with the phone being unable to make a phone call and use WiFi at the same time. Then I decided to try disconnecting my BT headset and it worked perfectly. Right now I'm streaming a video off youtube with a phone call connected, but the second I turn my BT headset on the connection dies.
I looked at previous threads and could not find an answer for the Capitvate. I would like to listen to music or videos thru my blue tooth headset, It worked on my old samsung eternity, and i am having problems with my cappy.

I got desire. Awesome phone. My question is regarding headset you get with the phone. Like every other headset I got with phone it appears to have music control buttons but they won't work with music application that's built in to the phone. What I mean exactly is non of the button on headset does anything like pause/play, forward or backward however it does work for hanning up calls u make. Is it suppose to not work with music or something wrong with mine?

But i want something that will last me longer then that. Even though i didn't lose any money on those because i bought it from overstock with warranty and they ended gaving me the full refund with the price of product and the warranty price back . I am not big fan of blue tooth headsets because first you have to turn on the bluetooth on your phone and then pair it and also then u have to charge your bluetooth end of the day. In the end its too much of an hassle. Besides the quality of the sound through wired headsets are much better then the bluetooth from what i have experienced. Any advice for good wired headsets(w mic). I will be using it for mostly phone calls and not that much music.
View 49 Replies View RelatedI call internationally on calling cards A LOT (gv to those countries is 2x more expensive). Because of the calling card, sound quality and volume already takes a hit. Translation from a non-native language is more difficult over the phone, and damned near impossible for me if I can't hear them CLEARLY and LOUDLY. Same goes for the party at the other end if my microphone is sub-par.
Can anyone recommend a Bluetooth headset that works well with the droid and has AMAZING call clarity, quality, and good volume? Aesthetics are unimportant, I don't care what it looks like or how big it is. It just need to sound loud, clear, and have a good mic. It also needs to be comfortable because it will get used 1-2 hours EVERY day.
Bonus points if its stereo and supports A2DP audio, as getting one of those for music listening is also on the shopping list... but I'm perfectly willing to get two separate units if I need to.
Went for a jog this morning and had earphones plugged in, when I finished jogging I removed the earphones and the phone still says they are plugged in. No rain or moisture involved. I have pulled the battery and restarted with no improvement. Any ideas or suggestions?

I have a problem with samsung gt-I5700 phone.. I bought it in Norway and when I arrived in the Philippines I ask help to the samsung customer service if they can upgrade my android.. Before the upgrade my phone works really good but after they upgraded the android from 1.6 to 2.1 ,my phones ruined or it is not working good.I cant download any application rom the market because i dont have enough phone memory and everytime i restart my phone all the contacts will gone and my the setting that i want it will turn it back to a normal settings..So everytime restarted it i will set the settings again..I ask help and consult it again to the man who upgrade my phone.He said he cant fix it because she dont know about that kind of problem.There is a lot of people dont have any problem after they upgrade but in my case why i have this kind of problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed in all music apps (pandora, slacker, last.fm, mp3's) the sound on the low end is very overmodulated. It is to the point that if I am wearing headphones or using the Moment to play music in the car that the speakers are being pushed extremely hard. The low end is so cranked that no level of EQ on my sound system can get rid of the muffled sound on the low end.
It also almost sounds like my earbuds are going to blow even on low volume.
All other devices (IPod Touch, Touch Pro, Slacker portable, Hero) do not have this problem.
Is this normal for this phone and if so do you know of any apps where you can tweak the EQ of the media volume output?
