I just moved some animated pics to my photo folder on my Behold II and when I view them in the photo gallery it's just stuck on the first frame and stays that way like a regular picture. Is it possible to have animated gifs "move" on this phone or is it not supported?

Jul 19, 2010I just got the Captivate, and I am having difficulty viewing attachments (Low kb excel spreadsheets and word documents). The weird thing is, it let me open one excel sheet once as what looked like an html instead of excel, which is fine as long as I can see it, but this hasn't happened since and it wasn't any particular thing different that I did. What should I do? Is it a bug with my specific phone?

Sep 2, 2010I have an Exchange email account set up on my Samsung Captivate. I can open/view attachments that have been sent to me, however I cannot open/view attachments in email messages that I have sent. I can see the attachment, and it's file extension, but when I click on it nothing happens. There is no open or save button like there would be normally. EDIT: I have read the other threads on this forum referring to issues with email attachments and none of them had the solution to my problem.

So first is it possible to only view pictures taken by the camera when I press the review button in the camera app? for example, not only do the pictures I take come up but also pictures of wallpapers and other saved images located in different folders show up. Aug 1, 2010I was looking at the Captivate and the iphone4 in store today and when comparing the same web pages in full page view the text on the Captivate was much smaller than the iphone4, even though the iphone screen is smaller. Zoom just made everything bigger so it wasn't in full page anymore. Is there a way to make the text bigger while in full page view? On a side note, that iphone4 screen is super sharp for text and the whites were much whiter vs the blueish tint on the Captivate.

Apr 19, 2010We are doing some prototyping for an Android app and we wanted to use Animated GIFs via webpages to get a sense of animation. Unfortunately, we have found that we can't do that on the Android's browser (or Opera for that matter). I've read some posting saying that this might get fixed but there were never any specific dates. Does anyone have some news on when we might be able to use Animated GIFs in webpages? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on good ways to develop quick animated visual prototypes of apps for Android? In particular, our design folks (who are handling the visual stuff) know HTML, Javascript, J-query but don't know Java and we would prefer to NOT have them learn another language, if possible as this is really just for rapid prototyping.

I was using simple free phone earlier which doesn't require data plan but after two weeks I bought samsung captivate, AT&T added $25 data plan. I got my phone from AT&T store where my friend works so he took my data plan out of the plan for now but he said they will find out and add into your plan again. Also, He said that they recognize by your IMEI number. My question is: Is there anyway I can change my IMEI number? I was thinking to use my simple free Nokia phone's IMEI number and use it for Samsung Captivate so AT&T thinks that I am using Nokia phone.
