I've looked around but I can't find anything on it. I just moved some animated pics to my photo folder on my Behold II and when I view them in the photo gallery it's just stuck on the first frame and stays that way like a regular picture. Is it possible to have animated gifs "move" on this phone or is it not supported?

Animated GIF images rendered by Android's WebView do not seem to animate. Has anyone figured out how to make them work? I'm testing on an N1 with 2.1-u1. None of the web settings available seem applicable.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWe are doing some prototyping for an Android app and we wanted to use Animated GIFs via webpages to get a sense of animation. Unfortunately, we have found that we can't do that on the Android's browser (or Opera for that matter). I've read some posting saying that this might get fixed but there were never any specific dates. Does anyone have some news on when we might be able to use Animated GIFs in webpages? If not, does anyone have any suggestions on good ways to develop quick animated visual prototypes of apps for Android? In particular, our design folks (who are handling the visual stuff) know HTML, Javascript, J-query but don't know Java and we would prefer to NOT have them learn another language, if possible as this is really just for rapid prototyping.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have several animated gif's I had converted over to png's with Fireworks 8 but when I place the frames in the folders part0 & part1 then use the developer SDK software and upload the bootanimation.zip files they will not work. I have other bootanimation.zip that work but I can't figure out what the difference is.

View 7 Replies View RelatedA few weeks ago, a friend and I went through the process of making my Behold 2 think it's a Galaxy (thanks to all who made that possible!). Now, after having played with it for a while and the lack of vibration annoying me, I've decided to try to use Odin to revert to the standard Behold 2 ROM.This is where my problem comes in: I am unable to get any USB Driver for the phone to work. In USB Debugging, out of debug, in download, or any other way I can think of. The phone just doesn't seem to want to connect. When not in USB debugging mode, I can get my computer to recognize the SD card and access files, and it'll charge, but, I can't get any other USB functions to work.
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or if this is an issue with the phone itself.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.Could someone walk me through troubleshooting this?
Could someone tell me about the Galaxy Camera. I'm about to load the Galaxy rom on my Behold 2 and I'm just curious about the camera on the Galaxy. What kind of features does it have and does the flash still work? Is it working okay with the Behold hardware?
