May 27, 2010I am getting the "Code: 10 - This device can not start" issue.
Running XP SP3
Looking at the device manager I see the following drivers installed under:

What driver am I missing? I read that there should be four. One for adb? I have even tried selecting the adb driver and it still only installs the three. I build computers for a living and can not for the life of me figure this out.

Sep 2, 2010So I purchased a samsung galaxy s vibrant off somebody through kijiji, he said the phone is supposed to be unlocked, when I go into the network settings, I can choose between rogers, talus and bell, I choose talus, it says I'm with Talus. However when I can't make calls or send text messages, but people can call me, on top of this, when I turn on the phone it says enter unlock pin code, what is this code, how do I fix it?

But just to point it out again the moment can be turned off or put on airplane mode even while its locked. This may be a bad thing if someone steals your phone and you want to use someones phone to either call or text it so that it will ring to find out who has it. All the thief has to do is put it on airplane mode or turn it off to deactivate ringers, sound, and gps.
Is there an app or option where I can use a passcode to unlock the phone rather than the pattern?And is there a way to track my phone through gps just in case it's lost or stolen?Any ideas or suggestions if a device someone rely relies on a lot is lost or stolen? My friend on his moment was able to add a message on the home screen saying "If found please contact "phone number" "email" and will be given a "$300" reward.

Jan 21, 2010Alright whats up people I was recently searching through and through for a way to get mobile internet without paying that ridiculous android price so as I was searching I stumbled across a regular behold forum at Samsung Behold Forum - New Proxy (TMobileX (Free Internet!)) - UPDATE: Analysis 01.07.10 -> 1500 Users because someone said free internet for it and I gave it a run to see if it would work with our behold 2 and surely enough it does.
Instructions on how to use proxy:
Open up the (default) browser on your Samsung Behold.
Type in the following address into the : tmo-x.co.cc/tmobilex/

Oct 1, 2010I've entered a wrong pattern too many times. The phone now asks for my gmail username and password. I tried to enter them, but it doesn't accept the credentials. They are certainly valid, I know because I logged in via web browser with the same name/pass and it works.

Aug 26, 2010First, let me fully admit this is an annoyance to me. Second, let me fully admit this situation is 'as designed.' As was indicated by Verizon, FRG22D made some changes that 'improved security.' In particular the ability for Exchange admins to enforce security settings. Well, I have a hosted Exchange account (personal email) with 1&1. Post manual update to FRG22D, I am now required to have a PIN code to unlock the phone. No unlock code and the pattern are not available. So, every time my phone comes out of 'sleep' mode, I have to enter my PIN. Incredibly annoying...
Ultimately, it's an issue to work out with 1&1 to see if this can be changed. I see no setting in the options presented to me in the OWA settings or in 1&1's XAdmin panel. If anyone happens to know if this is easily changed... please let me know. Sorry for the partial rant, but I am incredibly annoyed.

First you must have root,of course, Next, Use an app called root explorer or something similar and goto the folder /system/app/ and find the two files Term.apk and Term.odex, and MOVE them to your sd card from your phone,you want them gone from your system/app folder After that simply goto the market and search for Terminal Emulator , re-download and there you have it, Working term. em. on the behold 2.Peace Ladz.
