Sep 7, 2010I tried to download animated wallpapers online from myxer.com and it shows animated once downloaded but when i set it as my wallpaper, its no longer animated, just looks like a basic wallpaper. Any1 know how to make this work?

I just moved some animated pics to my photo folder on my Behold II and when I view them in the photo gallery it's just stuck on the first frame and stays that way like a regular picture. Is it possible to have animated gifs "move" on this phone or is it not supported?

May 1, 2010how i detest how the Behold handles wallpapers it wont simply dump (or auto-size) the entire wallpaper onto the 'desktop'.it first asks you to re-size the wallpaper according to your specifications by using the touch UI, to zoom in and out, etc, but it doesn't respond well.

Feb 15, 2010I downloaded Open Home with the DarkHero skin. In doing so, it made my wallpaper resolution 960x854. So rather than each window having a separate wallpaper, it is now one big one, just like the Moto Droid. Which is awesome in my opinion. The problem is setting new wallpapers. Is there a way to manually save downloaded wallpapers to the stock Wallpaper Gallery, rather than the Photo gallery where all of my camera photos are stored? I only ask because it keeps asking me to crop these 960x854 photos and select which window I'd like to change, when I don't want to do any cropping.

Dec 21, 2009I was able to get the animated live wallpapers working on the 2.1 ROM (only Nexus does not work). Disclaimer: This can brick your phone and should only be done if you know what you are doing and are willing to take the risk, I bear no responsibility for your actions. Directions.
1. Download this zip file, it contains the necessary lib files and the live wallpaper files. wallpaper files - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service lib files - MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
2. Unzip these files and place on your SDCARD. (I created 2 folders one named libs and the other app). You need to place the four Live wallpaper files in the app folder and the lib files need to be in the lib folder.
3. Restart your phone in the recover console.
4. Select mount sub-menu
5. mount sdcard and system
6. type busybox cp /sdcard/libs/* /system/lib
7. type busybox cp /sdcard/app/* /system/app
8. unmount both sdcard and system
9. restart your phone

Feb 25, 2010A few weeks ago, a friend and I went through the process of making my Behold 2 think it's a Galaxy (thanks to all who made that possible!). Now, after having played with it for a while and the lack of vibration annoying me, I've decided to try to use Odin to revert to the standard Behold 2 ROM.This is where my problem comes in: I am unable to get any USB Driver for the phone to work. In USB Debugging, out of debug, in download, or any other way I can think of. The phone just doesn't seem to want to connect. When not in USB debugging mode, I can get my computer to recognize the SD card and access files, and it'll charge, but, I can't get any other USB functions to work.
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or if this is an issue with the phone itself.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.Could someone walk me through troubleshooting this?

Binary cache files were found in /data/data/com.wssyncmldm that specify various URIs related to T-Mobile's management system and firmware OTA updates. There is also a file 'fota_delta_dp' (~40MB) which I assume is the update file. I haven't had a chance to analyze it yet but it is not a zip file.The URIs can only be accessed from within T-Mobile's wireless network.

1)the phone keeps jumping out of mass storage mode every 2 minuted after i mount it and so transfers get canceled in between
2)wifi does not work it sometimes gets connected to the router and sometimes just says "obtaining IP" and when it connects i cannot access internet. (but it somehow worked once i dont know how)
3) I have to send a message twice to certain people the first message always does not get sent

So i was wondering if there is a good ROM that allows me to have Live Wallpapers while still maintaining Sense UI and 2.1. But I want one thats stable and everything works well (VillainROM is perfect but Wi-Fi doesn't work).
