My GPS doesn't seem to work, when i open google maps and select my location it says your location is unavailable, It also doesn't work in telenav or any other GPS related app, anyone know what might be the problem? and yes GPS is on, and I dont mean Network because that one doesn't give me the right location.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got a new behold II and i love it but there are some problems for which i need your help
1)the phone keeps jumping out of mass storage mode every 2 minuted after i mount it and so transfers get canceled in between
2)wifi does not work it sometimes gets connected to the router and sometimes just says "obtaining IP" and when it connects i cannot access internet. (but it somehow worked once i dont know how)
3) I have to send a message twice to certain people the first message always does not get sent
I have so far found two bugs in Galaxo 1.6.3:
a) Speaker doesn't work in call (very weak). works well in ringtones etc.
b) Scrolling contacts by letter doesn't work.
Other than that this is a leap forward, especially with the overclock options!
Both bugs, as well as others, fixed in 1.6.3.1 update!
Sprint release the 2.1 update for the Samsung Moment today. Here is the link to the update on Sprint's website. Will this update work for our Behold II? I'm willing to try to install it on mine (I'm currently running 1.6 no twiz). What do you think guys?

Does this have to do the fact that the crappy 1.5 OS doesnt support it? Will 2.1 support those files? It also says mp4, but I tried that and it also doesnt work??? Has anybody else have any luck with these file formats? I remember my G1 could play these so why the flip can't a newer android phone?????

2. holding down the menu button still doesnt do anything
3. when you're charging your phone it doesnt show the percentage
4. cant uninstall where's waldo and midnight bowling.
5. sometimes you have to push the actual unlock button for the screen to turn on instead of any of the buttons (i do this to check the time)
never had the SD card or vibrating problems so i dunno if they got completely fixed.
Doesn't this phone support the direct dial shortcut on the desktop? I am trying to add contacts on my desktop that I would like 1-touch access to but the only way to add a contact is using the shortcut to contact. Clicking on that opens up the contact details and then I have to click on the number I want to call and select call or message. Is there any way to add a particular number for a particular contact directly onto the home screen? I know that the MT3G used to have a shortcut to direct dial option. Is there anyway to get that on this phone

View 27 Replies View RelatedA few weeks ago, a friend and I went through the process of making my Behold 2 think it's a Galaxy (thanks to all who made that possible!). Now, after having played with it for a while and the lack of vibration annoying me, I've decided to try to use Odin to revert to the standard Behold 2 ROM.This is where my problem comes in: I am unable to get any USB Driver for the phone to work. In USB Debugging, out of debug, in download, or any other way I can think of. The phone just doesn't seem to want to connect. When not in USB debugging mode, I can get my computer to recognize the SD card and access files, and it'll charge, but, I can't get any other USB functions to work.
I'm not sure if this is a driver issue or if this is an issue with the phone itself.I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit.Could someone walk me through troubleshooting this?
Does anyone know how to get the $10 plan work with BH2. I tried to add that plan to my number yesterday and it didn't work ?

I just moved some animated pics to my photo folder on my Behold II and when I view them in the photo gallery it's just stuck on the first frame and stays that way like a regular picture. Is it possible to have animated gifs "move" on this phone or is it not supported?

Binary cache files were found in /data/data/com.wssyncmldm that specify various URIs related to T-Mobile's management system and firmware OTA updates. There is also a file 'fota_delta_dp' (~40MB) which I assume is the update file. I haven't had a chance to analyze it yet but it is not a zip file.The URIs can only be accessed from within T-Mobile's wireless network.
Could someone tell me about the Galaxy Camera. I'm about to load the Galaxy rom on my Behold 2 and I'm just curious about the camera on the Galaxy. What kind of features does it have and does the flash still work? Is it working okay with the Behold hardware?
View 7 Replies View RelatedSo, I was running the leaked 2.1 for a while (which worked perfectly except for youtube fwiw) and finally decided last week to upgrade to the official 2.1 release. Youtube runs smoothly now and my performance seems slightly faster, but my GPS does not work at ALL.
Neither Sprint nor Google Navigation works. I tried turning off the "Use wireless networks" setting and it didn't help at all. Anybody else having this problem? Is there any way to fix this? Am I going to need to re-install my OS? Do I need a replacement phone?
Even though the end call is over 2x the size of my finger, it doesnt seem to work no matter how many time i press it! (most of the time).

Too bad. Then another poster wrote..."Same for me". Unfortunately he only says "You simply can't log in..." and this leaves me wondering WHY NOT ? If anyone out there knows exactly why we can't use our SGS to log in...then please enlighten the rest of us who are left wondering. It seems to me that if the exact reason is known then someone should be able to come up with a fix.

I press the shortcut icon I want to delete, hold, wait for the vibration, drag to the garbage icon, and release. When I go back to the application page the shortcut icon is still there.
This technique works perfectly on the home pages, just not on the application pages.
I've recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S4 to android 4.4.2 kitkat. Since then I've been unable to connect to the internet through mobile data. It can be activated/deactivated, but when activated I cannot connect to any websites.
