I don't get it. I can watch youtube videos with lightning speed but I try to watch a facebook video and it tells me I need a flash player. Adobe's doesn't work.

I am new to this site not so much to the android world, but there is something that keep annoying me and its when I go to youtube or to watch my anime episodes on my Motorola blur and it tells me a need a adobe reader but when I go into the website it tells me my phone doesn't support the software. Is there an app for this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI found this site and tested it and it works so you can get Adobe Flash Player to work on your x10 version 2.1. I used the default web app and Dolphin HD browser and it worked through both:

Go to this site and download the apk file to you computer and manually load it onto your phone either by copying to your SD Card and installing. Or If you use MyPhone explorer software then install it though that, once installed re-boot your phone. I tested it on the Avatar web site below and it played exactly the same on the phone as the PC, you have to be patient and wait for Flash Player to load the clip and you really need to do this over a WiFi connection, tap the play arrow in the middle of the screen. But as I said be patient it wont happen immediately but it wont take too long, remember its a phone not a PC.

why can't i use the HTC flash player to watch youtube video? when i click on the video link in m.youtube.com and chooses HTC Flash player as player. it just shows the youtube logo then the screen is blank. do you guys experienc the same?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm still on Eclair and I installed the .apk for Flash 10.1 and it is working. It's choppy when playing video that requires full Flash support, but ads and such show the Flash content instead of the error icon.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my phone. I'm not new to rooting either. And when I was pulling up a file, I got this screen. Another interesting thing, is that we have a file called FlashSVGPlayer.apk embedded into the phone, and FlashPlugin.apk

FlashPlugin.apk is Pineone Flashlite Plugin.
but FlashSVGPlayer.apk is Adobe Flash Player.
I know the Samsung Epic is Adobe Flash compatible for that Lite version or whatever, but does it come stock and if not, how do i get it?

As for facebook? How do I get to alert me in pop-up format when I get a message or replied to in facebook? I tried in settings and can't seem to see anything that I can tab for it to pop-up? The only way is when I recieve an email update, and there it shows someone replied to you in facebook or requested you as a friend? Along with email? I would like to see that pop-up like my email, text, etc. but from facebook alone if possible.
Samsung Fascinate USB cable issue and Adobe flash player.I've got Verizon Samsung Fascinate a few days ago. I really like to phone but there are some things I can't figure out and their tech service wasn't able to answer my questions.First of all I couldn't figure out how to download my pictures from phone to my PC by using USB cable connection. I totally don't understand how USB works with it at all.Second thing, I was trying to watch some of my TV shows but I wasn't able to do so because requests to have adobe flash player. But couldn't manage to download. Is there another program I can use?If anyone has answers for me that would be great.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am on the Epic 4g using the default YouTube app that came with the Epic 4g and I get an error every time I try to access my linked YouTube account. I have attached the screenshot of the error. This happens after going into the YouTube app, selecting "My account" then selecting my account from the "YouTube accounts" pop up. It will freeze for a while then I get the error in the screenshot.
I've even tried the HQ YouTube app found here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/android-applications/13492-evo-youtube-apk-works-droid-nexus-incredible.html
And taking the same steps as above it does the freezes but this time doesn't bring up that same error (I waited a couple minutes).
By the way, this is the stock ROM and I am not rooted.

Not the phone's youtube player, but the actual in-page youtube player. That is flash, right? My phone is still on 2.1, how can this be possible?

I was able to update my droid to the 2.2 version but when I get adobe flash player software and move it to the G drive (where the android is on my pc when its connected) nothing seems to come up on my phone. I must be missing some setup moves on my phone.
