Nexus :: Downloaded Cyanogen RC2 And Tried To Flash It - Aborted
Aug 11, 2010I'm new to flashing ROMs, and decided to have a play with Cyanogen. I used the one click root method, installed ROM manager, downloaded Cyanogen RC2 and tried to flash it. It keeps aborting.

Jul 3, 2010so i have an n1 for at&t and i just got the ota update for froyo last night. today i'm trying out the default web browser to see what kinds of flash videos i can see. i already downloaded the flash player from the market. plus i went into the setting for the browser with regards to "about:debug" then changed the UAString to desktop. but for some reason when i go to a website like nbc.com to try and go watch a full episode of the office, it only loads the mobile version of the site. also when i check out the facebook page it always automatically loads the "touch" version of the site. how can i get it to default to the desktop regular full site version? can anyone tell me a way around this or a setting change other than try a different browser?

Apr 6, 2010I'm trying to get an html5 demo page working on Android 2.1, have tried both droid and nexus one with 2.1 but they only display the poster image, and do not play the video. Pressing on the video does not do anything. Resolved with the onclick handler on the video tag. Is it possible to use html5 video in the android 2.1 browser at this time? My demo page is working for both the iphone and the ipad.

I was going to use some sort of film protector, such as Zagg invisible shield and a Flip Case. But the only flip case I can find for the Galaxy S looks horrid, and I am not sure on the texture of Zagg Invisible Shields.I have also considered silicone gel cases, but I am having trouble finding one that is nice, and pouches in combo with a screen protector.What would you use and if I did buy a screen protector, which brand should it be, I want one that will protect but with minimum difference to the feel or colour of the screen.

Right now I am changing the package name in eclipse and changing the code manually, but this seems really inefficient. Sep 11, 2010I have a rooted HTC Evo with the stock 2.2 system, and I am considering installing Cyanogen Mod 6, but I'm not sure if it is worth the hassle. What benefits does CM6 have over the rooted version of Froyo on the Evo. I kind of like the Sense UI, so that keeps me from going ahead and installing it. I know that Bluetooth controllers actually work in emulators if you use CM6, so that is a major selling point for me. Is there anything else I should know?

I was under the impression that it was just like flashing a ROM to my phone and that I could even use ROM Manager to do so, but I just can't seem to figure out how to do it. Here's a current screenshot of my main home screen: Basically, all I want to do is to be able to turn the notification bar black. I'd like for all the menus and popups and whatever else to be black as well, but I would settle for just the notification bar.

I was running Adobe Flash Player 10.1.92.8. I uninstalled Flash and installed 10.1.72.7 and now hulu works great. is this weird to anybody else?
