View 5 Replies View RelatedToday I was in the middle of sms conversation and suddenly I realized that my phone lost it's ability to send messages as well as calling/receving calls.
Here is info about my phone:
Model/firmware:
Currently flashed rom: I9070XXLQB_I9070OXXLQB_HOME.tar.md5
Model number: GT-I9070
Android version: 4.1.2
Baseband version: I9070XXLQB
Kernel version: 3.0.31-66490; se.infra@sep-116 #2; SMP PREEMPT Tue Feb 15:52:28; KST 2013
Build number: JZQ54K.I9070XXLQB
Network information:
Network: T-Mobile.pl
Signal strenght: -79 dBm 17 asu
Mobile network type: EDGE
Servise state: In service
Mobile network state: Connected
My phone number: unknown
Offline mode is obviously off.
APN matches network.
*#06# shows correct IMEI.
I searched and did everything (flashing another rom, factory resets, swapping SIM card, removing battery for 15 mins, etc.). Only thing that I haven't done is flashing modem, because I don't know if I can flash it on i9070.

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust to start off, I have a Droid 3, flashed to metro. I didn't flash it myself, so I don't have very extensive knowledge, but it is rooted.
1) My biggest problem: I can't receive or send group messages. I tried both handcent and go sms pro. In GO sms Pro, I've checked Send Settings > MMS Group Chat. I can send and receive MMS, but when I send it to multiple people, they all receive individual texts rather than a group text. Long story short I'm trying to message a group of people with iPhones. How can I do this or what exact settings do I need? I've looked at other threads, but to no avail.
2) 3G isn't working. It worked when I initially got it, and when I called the place that flashed my phone, they said that Metro sent out some file that blocks the 3G access.
I can send and receive normal texts, but not pictures. When I try to send a picture, it says "Message not sent." "MMS not supported by network." "Server response error." And when someone tries to send me a picture, I was directed to a website called viewmymessage.com.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T.
I got the Samsung Stratosphere smartphone last week and I couldn't figure out how to send or receive any multimedia messages. I got home, googled it and found out I had to turn my data on, and turn atuo-receive off, then click download. That worked to receive them but I have NO clue how to send them! It will act like its sending but say pending, and never send? how else to send/receive the messages!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am in need of some help with my HTC Magic. I haven't been able to send MMS Messages from it since I received the phone. I have spent the last 3 days on the Phone to my Mobile Carrier setting up settings and what not, with no success at all, but MMS works fine on my other phone (Nokia N97). Is there anything anyone could advise me on that might be of some help?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI can't send or receive MMS on my new Galaxy S. I called Orange helpline and they talked me through set up - it worked for me to send one and receive one and then stopped working once I had switched the phone off (to recharge). The settings are still there although it will not let me select any other setting as there is only a green dot selection for one (there are three altogether - the manufactor one, one that was sent to me via SMS and a manual one). It is not possible to select any other one but settings on all three seem to be the same. When I receive one it just says 'downloading'. If you click on it it just tells you what sort of message it is and there are no other options. The problem is, if I type a really long text it converts to MMS which will then not send. So..I can't send or receive MMS's. Any suggestions?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had hard reset my phone earlier on because I'd accidentally locked myself out of it, stupid as it sounds. I was playing with the lock screen and had accidentally set up a random lock code which I was unable to remember.Ever since then, I've not been able to send or receive text messages. I can make calls, go on the web and and even update my Facebook status from my Contact Card. Any suggestions? I've soft reset the phone, hard reset it once more, taken out the battery, all that good stuff. When I try to send a message, I get this Error code coming up a moment later.

When i try to send/ download MMS, it just hangs (little icon keeps going in circles like it's working but never finishes, nor are the messages sent). It's not reception. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been looking high and low for something that can achieve what is mentioned here, but to no avail. I would like the ability to send/receive messages directly from my Desktop without having to touch my phone (something similar to AirDroid, though unfortunately it only supports SMS).
AirDroid claimed they were able to make it work, though it requires root and other permissions that may infringe privacy rights. this leads me to believe that a similar software should exist.
Don't suggest emulators/BlueStacks - as the experience is suboptimal, and/or one would be required to have a separate phone number or sign out from the phone service in order to use it exclusively on the desktop.
