View 5 Replies View RelatedDon't know if any of you have had your SMS just stop sending/receiving? I've been texting my girlfriend back and forth for like 15 minutes then nothing was going back and forth. Hope its the service and not the phone, I really don't want to go change it again.
View 8 Replies View RelatedHandcent wont send them at all so I deleted it, I sent one photo through regular text message, but no more will send.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues with sending text messages to a few people and they aren't even all on the same carrier.I have been using CM 5.0.6.1 and really haven't had any problem until today.I switched to the stock 2.1 with root because i thought that maybe it was the rom and still these people can't receive my text messages they can send me messages and I receive them but I cannot send them out.I have reactivated my phone twice now and nothing has worked.Any help would be much appreciated.I know I said in the title i can't receive them but I can sorry i'm kind of tired at the moment.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI updated to 2.1 and now I can't send or receive picture messages on neither the stock message or Handcent..Anyone else having this issue?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy battery was giving me around six hours of life despite anything I did, so I decided to try to perform a factory reset and see if that helped anything. Well, I did the factory reset and the phone is back up and running (battery still sucks, though) but I can't seem to send any text messages.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI had hard reset my phone earlier on because I'd accidentally locked myself out of it, stupid as it sounds. I was playing with the lock screen and had accidentally set up a random lock code which I was unable to remember.Ever since then, I've not been able to send or receive text messages. I can make calls, go on the web and and even update my Facebook status from my Contact Card. Any suggestions? I've soft reset the phone, hard reset it once more, taken out the battery, all that good stuff. When I try to send a message, I get this Error code coming up a moment later.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently been having issues with my Eris because it won't send or receive text messages. It comes up as Network not responding or some kind of Radio Interface Source error...also when I make phone calls it always comes up restricted. I've contacted Verizon support and they have not resolved the issue...has anyone else had this problem?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having issues with Google Talk on the Droid Eris? I can open the application, however my friends list is gone and I can't receive or send any messages. I went into the application manager and cleared the app data, and also power cycled the phone. Any other suggestions? I doesn't appear i can delete and re-download.
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince i upgraded to 2.1 the other day, everytime i try to send a pic message it gives me Message not sent, Generic network failure. I thought at first that it may be due to my signal but its not.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI am new with WIFI connectivity with android. I want to create the application to send the messages to WIFI devices with my android devices so for this i want to ask how to connect our android device to WIFI devices to send the messages.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo I was using my the handcent sms app on my Droid today and all a sudden the person i was sending messages to was receiving the messages 3 times. Then all a sudden when i went back to text someone else my whole thread was gone and all my messages had been deleted. Then I try using the stock messaging app and obviously all my threads are deleted but messages send twice, any suggestions?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI tried the steps above, and it didn't work. I then compared it to the steps on the other link, and there it says to do mtdblock4, not mtdblock3
So I typed mtdblock4 instead, and I rebooted from the adb shell in the computer.
The boot animation went fine, and then when I got to my homescreen, I freaked out!
It is all black. Instead of the unlock button, there is a green button with an airplane symbol on it. It says NO SERVICE.
The bar IS transparent, but it has these weird symbols on it, not the normal ones.
AND, to make it worse, EVERYTHING is force closing. I'm getting messages after messages of force closing. NOTHING works.
I can't even pull down the notification bar to get mount my sdcard in order to delete the .apk file from there. All these stupid force close messages keep propping up.
Also, it says that the date is Wednesday, December 31 (the 31 is a thursday, though), and it has a time of 6 hours from now.
NOW,
I am actually still in debugging mode, and I still have access to adb shell.
IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO? I'M FREAKING OUT HERE!
(Why oh why did I have to root my beautiful Droid! I think I killed it!)
Anybody having issues sending MMS messages? I get an error all the time saying message failed network error, retrying. Thoughts?
View 12 Replies View RelatedCan you send SMS messages in 3G ? My G1 shows 3g on the handset but is it actually sending the message via 3G or the traditional GSM network ?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have recurring problem where my phone will appear to have service (x>2 bars) but when I try to send a text message and even call it will give me an alert saying the text message never send or the call will automatically end before connecting. No matter how many times I resend the message, it will not send unless either wait about an hour or restart my phone. I'm pretty sure it's not the phone, however, because my last phone, a Motorola RIZR, did the same thing (I kept my same T-mobile plan). I'm wondering if it's just a network problem or something else?
View 20 Replies View RelatedMy GV does not send sms messages over wifi. Although I am not certain, I am pretty sure it did this on my Eris. Any suggestions/people who can prove or disprove this? If you can disprove me, what relevant settings do you have set?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSince I picked up my Captivate yesterday, I have been unable to send sms messages. I noticed under Messaging/Settings that the "Message Center" is not set. Could that be the problem? Could some of you take a look at what your "Message Center" is set to?
View 5 Replies View RelatedJust out of no where. Can receive messages but every one I try to send a red exclamation point.t pops up. I try resending with no luck. Calling is normal and internet works great. I've looked thru all the settings and restarted the phone with no luck. I'm not the primary account holder so I have to wait for someone to call Verizon for me.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to send a picture message the little circle just spins and spins and never sends it. I called T-Mobile today and the woman took me through some settings but it still doesn't work.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have an HTC Hero Sprint, phone. My service provider is not sprint, i live in Alaska and have ACS as my provider. I was told that my phone will not do picture messaging, and that it was a phone limitation not a network one. Other users have picture messaging on their blackberries. Can someone recommend a good app for SMS and MMS that might allow me to send picture messages.
View 12 Replies View RelatedOne problem, everytime i send a picture message to my friends they only get "Message Corrupt" and they cant open it. One of my friends has a 'Desire' and he can open it fine. i can recieve pic messages ok. Have spoke to my service provider, they cant help me at all. They did try for 2 hrs this morning. I have 14 days to leave this phone back, it would be a shame to leave this back because of a messaging problem. but i will as picture messaging adds a bit of fun to your phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a wildfire and its telling me i am low on storage and i need to delete files. I have deleted all my messages, i am no longer able to receive or send messages either.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung intercept and when I try to send a picture message on my phone it says sent but the person says that they did not get the picture. I tried sending myself a picture and once again it says sent
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust to start off, I have a Droid 3, flashed to metro. I didn't flash it myself, so I don't have very extensive knowledge, but it is rooted.
1) My biggest problem: I can't receive or send group messages. I tried both handcent and go sms pro. In GO sms Pro, I've checked Send Settings > MMS Group Chat. I can send and receive MMS, but when I send it to multiple people, they all receive individual texts rather than a group text. Long story short I'm trying to message a group of people with iPhones. How can I do this or what exact settings do I need? I've looked at other threads, but to no avail.
2) 3G isn't working. It worked when I initially got it, and when I called the place that flashed my phone, they said that Metro sent out some file that blocks the 3G access.
I can send and receive normal texts, but not pictures. When I try to send a picture, it says "Message not sent." "MMS not supported by network." "Server response error." And when someone tries to send me a picture, I was directed to a website called viewmymessage.com.
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T.
