View 2 Replies View RelatedComing from a Iphone to the X the music player is a little lacking. Often I will go into a certain artist and want to play all the songs by that artist, or thumb through all their songs to find a certain one. On the stock music player on the X this seems hard to do (maybe I'm missing something).
if I pull up the music by artist and select a certain artist then it shows me all their albums (The iphone has the option at this point to select all albums and see all the songs of that artist in alphabetical order). The X doesn't give a option to select all albums at this point. If I go to artists and long press on a certain artist I can select play and it will start playing all that artists songs, then I can hit pause and go into the list from that point to see all the songs but they seem to be in a random order making it hard to find a specific song.
I've tried a couple other players and haven't been able to find one that functions like the Iphone, makes it hard to quickly find one song.
I've seen posts about this in other device threads and I just wanted to confirm that for the Evo I can rename and/or delete Nandroid backups? Is it as simple as connecting as a disk drive and renaming them that way through my laptop?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted desire, but I have a troublesome app that won't update and I can't delete. I have seen others who have had the same problem, and a solution is to rename the app .apk.old and then redownload it, but I can't find a decent app to do this. I do have superuser permissions.

There are options to add New Folder, All contacts, etc. After adding a new folder and dragging app shortcuts, I can't seem to figure out how to rename the folders from the default "Folder" name.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I'm listening to my music on the Droid and notice that the songs have a varying delay between them. Sometimes its not very noticeable and other times it's almost a full second delay before the next song plays. I was wondering, what causes this? Is it the phone itself or does it have to do with the song files? On my computer there is never a delay, each song plays continuously one immediately after the other.
