On my Vibrant I have both the standard "green battery" icon in my taskbar, as well as a downloaded battery percentage icon. I've noticed that the standard icon does a really poor job tracking the actual battery percentage. For example, the percentage will show 35%, but the icon will still appear two-thirds green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to get the battery percentage on top of or somewhere next to the battery icon in the status bar? I use Battery Indicator right now, but I'd rather have it on the battery icon like the iPhone has it. It's kinda hard to believe a smartphone wouldn't have an option to display the battery percentage.
View 27 Replies View RelatedI know there are multiple widgets for showing battery percentage, but is there a way of showing it in the menu bar. Just like as an overlay of the battery icon? I don't see the need for a widget AND a menu item, plus it would be helpful to see it as a percentage at all times, without the need to exit to the homescreen during calls or using apps.
View 12 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to get a battery icon mod(with %s or numbers) on a stock 2.1rom? All the ones I see on this forum and XDA require Deodexed ROM.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThis was brought up a lot when the Inc was just released. Everyone pretty much said that we had to wait until we were rooted. But has anyone found a way to add the battery percentage on the stock battery icon at the top? I hate having to install an app and have another battery icon in the notification bar with this.
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis will replace the stock battery indicator with a circular bar that includes percentage remaining. I flashed this on the DC 3.5 ROM and it works perfectly.

I guess I have my first major problem with the phone that I can't seem to figure out. As of last night, the battery icon on the top right of the screen has been showing a "?" symbol instead of the usual colored meter.
I tried charging it and the symbol doesn't change it either. Also, it does not seem to charge. I tried turning my phone on and off...and it doesn't do anything.
How can I see what percentage is left on my battery? I don't see any options under settings. Thanks.

View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for an app that'll allow the default status bar on my Droid to show the battery life in percentages. I know I've seen a screenshot of this somewhere, but I can't seem to do a search here or find it on the Marketplace.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI read online you can turn on battery percentage through Spare Parts. BB1 does have Spare Parts installed, but I cannot find the feature. I also found Spare Parts in the Marketplace, but can't download it. Any suggestions? Main feature I want in BB.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI saw evo screen shot had stock battery icon shows % of power left. I know few battery apps show that, but they are widgets, not changing stock battery icon. Can anyone tell me which app is that?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI know this comes in some ROMs and maybe some themes, anyone seen a stand alone option for people in root to add this ability in the MENU bar, not the task bar?
View 37 Replies View RelatedI have the Telus Milestone unlocked to At&t and I downloaded the battery widget, but it won't show my exact percentage. It just sums it up by an estimate of 10. Like if my battery is 85%, it'll say 80%. At first I thought it was my widget, but when in lock screen, it says the same thing. How do I make my phone show the exact percentage?
View 6 Replies View RelatedFriend of mine said he activated a Droid today, brand new, and the battery meter is showing a "?". No meter just the empty battery meter with a question mark inside of it.Anyone have that issue or ever heard such a thing?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo earlier today I flashed cyanogen's rom and noticed that the battery icon on the notification bar had the battery % on the battery, the built in one not the on from the battery indicator app, and I thought that looked really slick. I was wondering if there was a way I could get that thru using metamorph or something.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to change the color of the battery icon? I know you can change the fonts, status bar, clock color, etc. It would be pretty cool to have a variety of colors to change to instead of the blue, green, etc.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHeres a custom round battery icon I made this morning. I didn't really like any of the ones already on here so I made this. Its green 100-60, yellow at 40, orange at 20 and last but not least red at 10. Should install via MM.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI made a custom blue Droid battery icon(based on Manigma77's "3Dbattery" icon). I just changed the color. It is part of my setup shown in this thread: http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-droid/47148-learning-experience-care-share-yours.html
There has been enough interest in it that I figured I would post it up for those of you who would like to have it It is a Metamorph file and easy to apply. Here is what it looks like:
Of course the icon changes with battery status as it should Here is the file:
I just bought the Droid today and am having problems with the charger/battery? I used it all today after purchasing it until the battery ran down. The entire time the battery icon had a question mark instead of the actual status (which I thought was odd at the time). I plugged in my Droid after it died and it turned on, but it doesn't seem to recognize the charger.
I've had it charging for the past few hours, but I still cannot unplug it without it immediately turning off and the battery level is stuck at 5% (the battery and question mark is still in the corner too). For clarification, when its plugged in to the charger, the phone will turn on and function. As soon as I unplug it, the phone turns off.
What does the "?" by my battery icon mean?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI loaded bb v1.0 with the 1.0 ghz kernel pete has on my friends droid. It is the same setup on mine. His battery was dead within 3 hourss. I noticed his sync icon is in the notifcation panel however it is not spinning. I think the calender is trying to sync and there fore is draining the battery. I deselected the auto sync option but the sync icon is still in the notification panel. Any suggestions what is going on or how to remove the sync icon. I rebooted and killed apps via task manager with negatives results.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have finally gotten my notif. bar just right. i used the 24k theme and changed the battery icon to green and slowly changes to yellow then red. Like this
100-green
80-green
60-yellow
40-yellow
20-red
0-red
charge-red
Then reverse order while charging i manually changed the Hue and Saturation of every icon in gimp and can upload them if anyone would like them.
I liked the battery icon but not the color and i didn't know if anyone out there would like to have them!
I have uploaded the pics of them let me know what you think!
THESE ARE NOT MY ORIGINAL IMAGES I CHANGED THEM AND I AM NOT TAKING OWNERSHIP OF THEM JUST PUTTING MY SPIN ON THEM!
