View 14 RepliesI'm looking for an app that'll allow the default status bar on my Droid to show the battery life in percentages. I know I've seen a screenshot of this somewhere, but I can't seem to do a search here or find it on the Marketplace.

Is there any way to get the percentage on the top bar? Seems silly that I cant find the setting and have to dig into settings to see the remaining %.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMotorola Droid user coming from iPhone here. One of the features I miss is having the battery percentage indicated in the status bar next to the little icon (in fact, I'd rather just have the percentage rather than the icon). Is there an app to show that in the status bar? It seems the precision of the battery meter is by 10% increments until it reaches 20%, but even that would be better than just the icon.

all these apps have battery life in increments of 10%. do any go by 1% ? for example, phone shows 82% battery life and not 80%...

View 5 Replies View RelatedI read online you can turn on battery percentage through Spare Parts. BB1 does have Spare Parts installed, but I cannot find the feature. I also found Spare Parts in the Marketplace, but can't download it. Any suggestions? Main feature I want in BB.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know this comes in some ROMs and maybe some themes, anyone seen a stand alone option for people in root to add this ability in the MENU bar, not the task bar?

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday i found a new battery issue with the phone. I tried searching the forum but as you can probably see from the title could not find the right words to define it. At night i left the battery at around 70% and when i woke up it was shown as 5% (no i did not sleep for 24hrs straight.). with the sync, bluetooth, GPS, wireless and Data (through Quick Settings) off.
but thats not the fun part yet. it comes when i plugged in my car charger the battery level jumped from 5% to 60% within a millisecond. I know the the charger box said "Fast Rate Charger" but this is ridiculous. unless i got one of those freak hyper super fast charger (which i doubt, hardly that lucky), there is a software bug. Does anyone know how to remedy this cuz now i dont think i can trust the battery level thingy. It fun when it happens this way but i dont think i would be laughing if the battery dropped by 50%.
I have the Telus Milestone unlocked to At&t and I downloaded the battery widget, but it won't show my exact percentage. It just sums it up by an estimate of 10. Like if my battery is 85%, it'll say 80%. At first I thought it was my widget, but when in lock screen, it says the same thing. How do I make my phone show the exact percentage?
View 6 Replies View RelatedBattery Left was the first thing I installed on my phone when I got it. My battery life has been terrible so I've been trying to track down the problem. I woke up today, unplugged my phone and didn't touch it for an hour. Battery Left says I have 70 percent left but the battery meter in the status bar showed full. I uninstalled battery left and installed Battstatt and it shows 90 percent (2 hours later). Anyone else have problems with battery left? I hope this fixes my battery problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had read that the froyo update helped battery life. Granted I have only had the phone 3 days, I am not noticing great battery life. I have everything shut off that I should, and I have done a factory reset right after the froyo update.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI currently use the battery life widget but I feel it drains my battery looking for peoples opinions on the various apps out there for this.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for widgets...one widget for all would be nice.
but one that tells me my batter, 3g, how many bars, and what my status is (vibrate or not)
basically everything on the notification bar
whats the best battery status app out there in your opinion. In terms of features, status it shows and of course accuracy.
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe battery status is horrible. Why does it look like it's at 50% when at 30%? I downloaded an app that puts the percentage in the status bar, but it's at the top left in notifications. Is there an app that replaces the current icon with one with a percentage or, at least, is more accurate? I doubt there is. I didn't find anything on Marketplace or through search.
View 12 Replies View RelatedOn my Vibrant I have both the standard "green battery" icon in my taskbar, as well as a downloaded battery percentage icon. I've noticed that the standard icon does a really poor job tracking the actual battery percentage. For example, the percentage will show 35%, but the icon will still appear two-thirds green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've seen this posted before however I'd really like to revisit it. In dealing with a small res device I would like to hide the status bar, my current solution has been to make it transparent and 'make a mess' of the framework and xml so that certain icons are no longer shown, for example the battery icon only shows a png when it's low, the ticker font is transparent etc. I'd much rather do this the proper way, via the source in android 2.1 So who has ideas for; Making the status bar hide when the launcher is open? not having the notification ticker at all? Disabling the status bar completely?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe notification in the expanded status bar has time field. How can I set the "time" invisible or remove it??
Does anyone know about this?
I know before the upgrade to 2.2 I could view my battery percentage by going to type in the phone number *#*#4636#*#*. Now after the upgrade when I type that in it won't show anymore.Does anyone know if there is a new code to type in?
View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to get the battery percentage on top of or somewhere next to the battery icon in the status bar? I use Battery Indicator right now, but I'd rather have it on the battery icon like the iPhone has it. It's kinda hard to believe a smartphone wouldn't have an option to display the battery percentage.
View 27 Replies View Relatedjust like the 3GS anyone know an app for this.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI didn't see a thread in here discussing this, but I'm using a battery percentage indicator that shows the percentage in the status bar. I just want to get an idea of what everybody else is using. The one I downloaded from the appmarket is cool for being free, but if anybody has recommendations, I'd love to hear them. I really want the one that HTC makes, but it's only available for the N1 and Desire right now. Post up the different ones being used.
