View 2 RepliesThis was brought up a lot when the Inc was just released. Everyone pretty much said that we had to wait until we were rooted. But has anyone found a way to add the battery percentage on the stock battery icon at the top? I hate having to install an app and have another battery icon in the notification bar with this.
View 12 Replies View RelatedThis will replace the stock battery indicator with a circular bar that includes percentage remaining. I flashed this on the DC 3.5 ROM and it works perfectly.

On my Vibrant I have both the standard "green battery" icon in my taskbar, as well as a downloaded battery percentage icon. I've noticed that the standard icon does a really poor job tracking the actual battery percentage. For example, the percentage will show 35%, but the icon will still appear two-thirds green.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway to get the battery percentage on top of or somewhere next to the battery icon in the status bar? I use Battery Indicator right now, but I'd rather have it on the battery icon like the iPhone has it. It's kinda hard to believe a smartphone wouldn't have an option to display the battery percentage.

Is there an app that puts the battery percentage in our battery icon?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI know we can use widgets or change the status bar one with UOT, but it seems ludicrous to imagine such a simple feature hasn't become standard. Is there some patent troll that is keeping devices from having the battery percentage in the system bar?
View 9 Replies View RelatedNo intentions of being redundant, however I ran a search didn't find any new info and I'v been banging my head. I'm farely noobish at root, and I'm currently just running straight up android 2.2 flashed with 3.21 unrEVOked, and everything is working great *cheers to them, great job* I'm just trying to replace my stock battery icon with a new one with percents. I didn't find anything on the forum, perhaps I'm blind.. but just figured I'd see if there was a way to do this yet without installing a rom. I tried one from another site and it put my phone into a force close frenzy and wouldn't load senseui (kept fc'ing) thus making my phone useless. MDA didn't do a nandroid backup, and I royally effed my phone and had to swap back to another incredible. so if anyone has any information, that'd be supa.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have searched everywhere for a zip that will change the battery indicator to a percentage. Anyone have any ideas or zips?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI applied a battery percentage mod without doing a nandroid. Now I'm stuck in a boot loop. I tried reapplying the stock battery in recovery and still looping.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wiped my battery stats yesterday (full bump charge, wipe, drained battery) and I did a full charge and after 2 hours up and 5 minutes awake, I have 55% left..I know I have more battery but I want the battery meter to show the right percentage.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI find my status bar is very cluttered and has some unnecessary icons that I'd rather not have (particularly bluetooth, alarm, and battery [I use Battery Status app]). I found this article on how to remove the stock battery icon but it's designed for the Samsung Moment. Anyone brave enough to try it on their Evo?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI saw evo screen shot had stock battery icon shows % of power left. I know few battery apps show that, but they are widgets, not changing stock battery icon. Can anyone tell me which app is that?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI know before the upgrade to 2.2 I could view my battery percentage by going to type in the phone number *#*#4636#*#*. Now after the upgrade when I type that in it won't show anymore.Does anyone know if there is a new code to type in?
View 7 Replies View Relatedjust like the 3GS anyone know an app for this.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI didn't see a thread in here discussing this, but I'm using a battery percentage indicator that shows the percentage in the status bar. I just want to get an idea of what everybody else is using. The one I downloaded from the appmarket is cool for being free, but if anybody has recommendations, I'd love to hear them. I really want the one that HTC makes, but it's only available for the N1 and Desire right now. Post up the different ones being used.
View 20 Replies View Relatedmy captivate won't let me use camera or music player when the battery percentage is below 15%. how do i get rid of this setting?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI hope you can help me out by chiming in on this. I've been using my phone a bit, and it looks like my battery goes down by about 10-12% for every 15 minutes I'm on a call. Is this normal? It seems like my battery isn't lasting anywhere near as long as it should. Extrapolating those figures out, you'd be looking at 150 minutes (2h 30m) of call time per charge - way below the quoted time (7h on 3G). Additionally, I seem to be able to lose about 10% of my battery just browsing the web for 10 minutes over 3G. I have GPS off, but WiFi and sync on.Are you all getting significantly better than this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to get the percentage on the top bar? Seems silly that I cant find the setting and have to dig into settings to see the remaining %.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'd like to be able to add some sort of battery percentage to my status bar that flows with the ICS theming (I have a Droid Pro running a CM9 port).
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I noticed that my battery icon is showing nearly a solid green battery, just slightly below it (a thin sliver of black). I've been on the phone for over an hour, played some games, got some e-mails etc and was wondering why it hasn't moved because before (had the phone since the beginning of May) it always seems to drop pretty accurately based on my usage (granted it's just observation, never studied it or anything). I went to settings - about phone - battery - and saw that I'm actually at 70%...but yet the icon hasn't moved down. Played a game for about 3 minutes and checked again, and the green icon now accurately shows what a 70% battery life should look like. Does anybody else know if their icon doesn't accurately represent their usage? Is this nothing to worry about? haha just concerned it will lag more and more with time or something...

View 6 Replies View Relatedon average what % battery is your android system using. mine usually uses from 20%-60%. On average its 40%, pretty much after normal use at any given time mine is at 40%. seem normal or a bit high? i have system panel and no app seems to be hogging or anything like that.edit: after some tweaks my android system is anywhere from 10%-40% tops.
View 15 Replies View RelatedIn my case, I think the charger that came with the phone is not charging the battery properly. Last Friday I left the Evo charger at work and had to use a Nokia charger to charge the phone. The usage was the same, but now my battery doesn't seem to have the initial percentage drop and seems to last longer. Also, it charges bit faster (I know this is not great for the battery). Will do more testing.
View 2 Replies View RelatedYou MUST have root before doing this. I DO NOT take credit for any of this, but it works great and i wanted to share it with you all. Here is the thread where i found this: Accurate-battery-icon-for-Samsung-fascinate | Taypotts Blog | Taypotts Blog
View 49 Replies View RelatedI know there are multiple widgets for showing battery percentage, but is there a way of showing it in the menu bar. Just like as an overlay of the battery icon? I don't see the need for a widget AND a menu item, plus it would be helpful to see it as a percentage at all times, without the need to exit to the homescreen during calls or using apps.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI seem to have disabled the battery percentage indicator that was previously displayed while the phone was charging. It used to say '95%. Charging' and now it says only 'Charging'. Does anyone know how to bring the percentage back? I have the H7 firmware.
