Motorola Droid :: Way To Save Homerun Battle 3D In Phone?
Nov 22, 2010
I have been wanting to root my phone and (I know it's silly) but this game and losing everything has been keeping me from doing it. Is there a way to save my game and records? Maybe through Titanium Backup?

I just had my Motorola Droid replaced with a previously defective one. On the previous Droid, i had Homerun Battle 3D installed and got a lot of milestones completed/gold balls and built up my pitcher. When i installed my bought game from the market on my new Droid, it is having me start all the way over from the beginning! Nothing transferred over. Is there a way to transfer this info over?

I frequently use www.phonezoo.com to download free ringtones. I'm trying to redownload some ringtones and I don't see how to save them as ringtones. They come as an mp3 file and my old phone had a menu option to save them. Does anyone know how to do it on the X?

Apparently rooting and using custom ROMs hasn't solved this issue. Before I rooted my phone I was having the issue that, despite checking the "Use by default for this action" box, my phone just plain refused to save what homescreen app to go to when I tap the "Home" button.I've tried clearing the cache. I've done factory resets and data wipes (although I did restore "all apps with data" with Titanium Backup). I've tried using the Home Switcher app. Nothing works.Right now my phone is running the current version of BB, ChevyNo1's 1.0Ghz 5 slot update.zip for OC, and am using AdamZ's Smoked glass theme. I want to use the "HelixLauncher" app as my default homescreen, but it's rather obnoxious having to constantly select it when I hit the home button (it'll save my default action for a few clicks, and then I'll have to set it again).

Have any battle/horror stories involving your Evo? I just got mine replaced on friday..and i was walking down our outside stairs yesterday, and dropped it. "luckily" it hit the bottom left corner, and indented it. Oh well, it happens.

I have a Motorola Moto G 8GB which is running very low on storage (only about 800mb left). This phone does not take Micro SD cards but it comes with 50GB Google Drive storage. However i haven't used this at all. I am wondering whether i could download android apps and games to google drive, dropbox etc. Games like Real Racing take up about 1GB so i cannot download it to my phone. Can i download it to the Cloud? If this is not possible, is there any way that i could save the app data on the cloud. E.g. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is about 37mb to download off the play store, but then you must download the updates etc which are about another 250mb. is there anyway to save this 250mb on the cloud. Or any other games data.

Hello all, new to AF and new Droid user. I cant seem to find an option to save an MMS picture. Am I doing something wrong? Also, I keep reading that others say it's possible to have my yahoo email utilizing push notifications, but I don't see an option for that either. All I see is a 5 minute "pull" option.

Maps is very powerful and I think it's one of the best features of the Droid, but I still feel like I don't understand a lot about it.
Sometimes I'll look up directions for a place I want to go later. How do I save that location? I know I can look it up with a PC and save it in "my Maps", then possibly access that layer on my Droid. But I just want a place to save destinations that I might want to go to later.
This is one example of many things that should be easy to do, but I don't understand how to.

Ringdroid is great is you have the song. But if I download a ringtone - it comes as an MP3 attached to a text message. There is no media icon I can see that I can click/hold in order to have the option to save the MP3.
So, how can a save an MPS that comes in attached to a text message ?

I want to add some custom ringtones. Ringdroid and Ring Extender both do a nice job, but you need to have the song in order to make a ringtone. I have downloaded ringtones that came as MP3 attachments to a text message. But, I cannot figure out how to save those MP3's. There's no media icon I can click and hold. If I try menu while it's playing - it just backs me out of it, and if I try menu before playing it I just get the usual SMS reply options.
