So I know this has been a recurring problem, the quick keys at the bottom of the screen being purple.But no one has ever figured out what to do about it?Is there a way to cover them up or something so they aren't visable at all?It may be my OCD acting up, but i feel disgusted at the prospect of having to look at a phone whose 4 buttons are different colors for the next two years.

I just bought two (2) droids for my fiance and I and I noticed that my droid has slightly purple bottom buttons when they light up while my fiance's lights up white.Is there an option to change the bottom light's color? or does my phone have a manufacturer defect?

The list or page will rapidly scroll all the way to the bottom of the list or page. Although I experience this at least a couple times every day, I am unable to reproduce this phenomenon at will.Does anyone know what cause this? Is it a bug?
View 15 Replies View RelatedA backlight used to turn on for the bottom hard press keys on my dx but ever since I downloaded and installed the live wallpaper panoplied, they don't turn on anymore. I don't know how or even why a live wallpaper would turn off backlight settings for the keys but its becoming a major inconvenience. I checked the settings but couldn't find where to tweak backlight settings. I also rebooted the phone and did a soft reset but that didn't work. Can anyone out there help a brother out?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter successfully rooting my phone, after my reboot i noticed that the bottom row of touch sensitive keys and the physical keyboard do not light up when touch or slid open. to fix this i have to go to the brightness setting and uncheck and check automatic brightness again?

First post here. First Android phone as well. Picked up the X yesterday and am enjoying it. One quick question though, can I not turn the phone to the right (bottom keys to the left) to change the orientation? Things only turn when I turn the phone left or straight up, not right or upside down.

Is there a way to disable the bottom keys (Menu, Home, Back, Search, etc etc) from vibrating when touch? Even when I dial a number the keys are vibrating (haptic feedback) I've read the manual. I tried setting the white balance and nothing seems to work. When I switch back to a 2.1 rom everything is fine. This is the only thing keeping me from staying with 2.2.

It's most noticeable when typing on keyboard and trying to hit spacebar; unless I hit the spacebar right on the middle or top, it doesn't register.i.e. hitting it toward the bottom 1/3 of the spacebar. It seems noticeable when hitting the phone, app drawer, or contact icons as well. Anyone else notice this? Found this on the Motorola forums about other having similar issue.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any app/hack/widget to keep the backlights on the bottom buttons on just as long as the screen is backlit? So annoying how quickly they go off. Equally as annoying is how quickly the screen goes to sleep after you get a text. It literally stays on for 2 seconds, so I have to press the power button then slide/unlock to get to my text. Needs to be an option to keep it on for longer (10 seconds).
View 4 Replies View RelatedThis is hard to explain, but all the videos i show for the droid x shows that when you finger scroll through screen left to right and you get that little thing that pops up on the bottom where you can tap the dots to take you to certain home screens.in that same video i see that the phone arrow for apps and contacts icons move out of site while the dots pop up. until you let go then the navigation dots dissapear and the phone arrow for all apps and contacts icons slide back up.The same thing for deleting an app, when i see someone in the droid x video tap and hold and drag down to bottom to delete the phone, contacts and all apps moves out of the way.

I'd like to add more, basically fill this screen with the 12 contacts I contact the most. I cannot figure out how to add more contacts to the screen...it starts out with 4 spots you can fill up, but how do you add more of these? Are these technically widgets or are they called something else, maybe I just am searching on the wrong term and that's why I couldn't find an answer.
