Does anyone else have this problem? After I search the market for apps and then return to my home screen, or any other screen, some text will remain on the bottom of the screen. It's basically the various word suggestions from my previous search. Note, I am using Better Keyboard. Not sure if this is a BK bug or not.

I am developing an application in which the layout is independent of screen resolution.
Now my problem is that in TextView the textview layout does change itself when the resolution of screen changes but the size of text remain same.I want that when the resolution is high, according to that the text size should also adjust itself(i.e. text size should be changed).And similarly when resolution is low the text size should also shrink.But here when i reduce Y-AXIS to an extent the text vanishes.I will really appreciate any answer.
This is hard to explain, but all the videos i show for the droid x shows that when you finger scroll through screen left to right and you get that little thing that pops up on the bottom where you can tap the dots to take you to certain home screens.in that same video i see that the phone arrow for apps and contacts icons move out of site while the dots pop up. until you let go then the navigation dots dissapear and the phone arrow for all apps and contacts icons slide back up.The same thing for deleting an app, when i see someone in the droid x video tap and hold and drag down to bottom to delete the phone, contacts and all apps moves out of the way.

I just got a Samsung Captivate and I love it. But there are four applications at the bottom of the screen that includes, Phone, Email, Browser, and Applications. They came there with the phone. I was wondering if you can remove/edit these 4 applications so you can put others there. Because I would like to replace the samsung email app with the google email app.

Sometimes it takes a matter of a min to lock on other times much longer, and this past weekend I had an indecent where it never found the signal for about a 1/2hr or more.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWith 2.1, my screen remains lit when I'm plugged into a USB port for charging. No big deal, but certainly means it isn't charging as quickly.Is there a setting to have it go off when plugged in?(I am also using Power Manager, but it doesn't seem to have this setting.)

Previously when a new SMS arrived, the screen would light up and show the message on the locked screen, from where I could send a "Quick reply" without unlocking the phone or going into the SMS app (using Handcent).
After applying Go Launcher and Locker, the screen does not light up when an SMS comes, though the notification sound and the LED blink is still there. So i need to unlock the phone and then reply, if needed.Also previously when listening to audio, when I pushed the Volume up or down button, the screen remained off, but with these apps now the screen lights up when using the Volume buttons.

I was on google.com (mobile view) earlier using the standard browser and after I had performed a search, if I pressed on the top seach box to edit what I had searched for rather than bringing up the keyboard it scrolls me to the bottom of the page and shows the bottom search box and zooms in quite far. I tested this in both orientations and it still did the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want the incoming message to show up on the home page when it is first received, like the iphone does, it covers a good portion of the screen, for a few seconds even when the phone is asleep, then it goes away until you wake it up. I tried Handcent and I'm now using ChompSMS. With Chomp you get this tiny little ticker at the top of the screen, that is all. Is it possible to have that feature with this phone?

I have 2 questions about the All Programs screen ......
Is there a way to re-arrange the order of the way the apps are arranged on this page ? If so, how?
Secondly, how can I remove apps off of the All Programs screen ? I know that apps that I download from The Market will disappear once they have been 'uninstalled', but what about anything else such as "Amazon MP3", "Visual Voicemail", "Stocks", etc. ?
These are things (apps listed above ) I have NO interest in, but they crowd up my All Programs screen and force me to do a lot more scrolling (due to not being able to re-arrange my most used apps on this page, SO FAR).
I was wondering, is there a way to have the screen come on and/or have the phone unlock when you get a text message or email notification?

Is there a way to disable the bottom keys (Menu, Home, Back, Search, etc etc) from vibrating when touch? Even when I dial a number the keys are vibrating (haptic feedback) I've read the manual. It's most noticeable when typing on keyboard and trying to hit spacebar; unless I hit the spacebar right on the middle or top, it doesn't register.i.e. hitting it toward the bottom 1/3 of the spacebar. It seems noticeable when hitting the phone, app drawer, or contact icons as well. Anyone else notice this? Found this on the Motorola forums about other having similar issue.

I can long press any of the top two rows apps/widgets fine to remove or add in an empty space. but the bottom two rows I can't remove or add with a long press.anyone else have this issue? When I click the notification it brings me to the email, but the notification remains at the top of the bar until I click it again, which brings me to my inbox. This is not really a big issue, it just kind of gets annoying clicking every email twice. Any solutions?
