I cannot figure out how to copy the url of the page I'm viewing. i can share it and copy it that way but no way to just copy it. Anyone know how to do this or if it's not possible?

Is anyone else having trouble setting a default browser? I'm trying to set Dolphin as the default, but every single time I launch it, I get the dialog:
"Dolphin is not currently set as default browser. would you like to make it as default browser?
I click "OK", but if I kill the process, next time I launch, it asks me again. Also, if I check "Set as default browser" is the settings, that only lasts until the next time I open the settings (when it magically appears unchecked again). I believe I also had a very similar experience when I tried Browser and 1nternet.
Anyone going back to stock, now that it has pinch zoom? I think I am unless someone knows why Dolphin is still better. I don't see anything up front. When will stock sync with Crome?

A quick test shows that it renders the nytimes and cnn websites faster than the native browser...so it appears to have sped up on my Droid. I'm wondering what others think of the new UI.

Just changed to Dolphin HD.When I try to make a bookmark shortcut to the desktop, the bookmarks it shows me are from Browser, not Dolphin. In Dolphin HD, I see all my bookmarks, but they are not choices for screen shortcuts.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo everyone LOVES dolphin hd...the verdict is out for me...it runs very slow and sluggish..doesn't always feel clicks, doesn't always open bookmarks, and doesn't always recognize text fields. Now by always i mean 95% of the time.
My phone itself is running slow lately period. Launcherpro is maggy, widget locker acts up, swype doesn't always give me the red search dot, and other fun problems.
I am rooted with 2.2. No themes.

Marketplace thinks I have this application installed, but won't let me uninstall it. Rumor is that re-installing the APK file will fix it, but there is none to be had on the web. Anyone have the APK file for dolphin? It needs to be 1.2.99 (or later) because the package name was changed in that version.

I've lost Multi Touch Zoom on the Dolphin Browser Since the 2.1 update.
The native browser will not multi touch zoom either (I thought this was supposed to be included in the update).
Any ideas? I can't find a setting to turn it on.
I'm upgrading from my Droid 1 to the Droid X tomorrow and would like to start my use of the DX with it's new 32gb card in place of my old 16gb card from my Droid 1 but need to know if there's anything required to copy from my droid 1 16gb card to my new DX 32 gb card that would be required or helpful in the DX use.I will obviously transfer music/vids/pics but are there any essential files, apps, etc. that are needed.Or is it a good idea to use my paid MyBackupPro to copy the old Droid 1 apps/data for use in the DX larger memory card or is this not copatible to perform between the 2 devices?

When I connect my DX to a computer with the USB cable, I usually use "PC Mode" or "Windows Media Sync" instead of "USB Mass Storage". Because (a) then I can still access the SD card on the phone, and (b) I don't need to remember to unmount the SD card from the PC before disconnecting the cable.
The strange thing is that on my work computer, I can copy files from the phone to the computer no problem. But on my home computer, when I try to copy a file, nothing happens. (I have Windows XP on both computers). I see the SD card directory tree in Explorer on the PC. I drag a file from one of the SC card folders into a folder on my PC. But then nothing happens.
If I use "USB Mass Storage", then it works well okay.
I m little confuse. i have a wallpaper folder on the sd card with files to use as wallpaper. i would resize using the yellow crop & save. why does it save another copy? why does it not just use the original file? so now the wallpaper folder has two copies of the same file.

When I keep installing new themes, and flashing back to .sbf, the most annoying part is signing back in to my phone to have to download the bootstrap then wipe my phone again.
