Recently my DROID updated, and since then my PANDORA radio and Youtube have not played on my phone. It will say unable to retrieve music from Pandora, and youtube it will say unable to play videos.
I have done all updates for the apps, and still nothing.

Just fired up SHOUTcast via TuneWiki and the music is no good. Sounds like a bad mp3 rip when it gets all garbled, if you pirates know what I mean
Tried a bunch of different stations and same thing, with major lag and disconnects. I guess I found the answer, Froyo support TuneWiki does not work on FroYo (partly)
Anyone else having issues with another internet radio program?
On my Inc, when I played the FM radio or Pandora, my ear buds have a button which pauses or mutes the player. With the DX, when I use this same button, it automatically brings up voice commands and is asking for a command while the music still plays in the background? Anyway to disable this so it just mutes or pauses? It appears that the settings for the voice commands are taking over and I don't know where to change them. I can not delete or uninstall the voice command settings since I use the voice to text.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI just got my Droid but I frequently use Pandora and Last.FM on my computer at work. Last.FM - Seems like the service has a better list of artists than Pandora so i switched to it on my PC recently. On Android the service is the same but as an app it tends to be open in the background all the time and suffers from not being able to pause (like the PC version). The scrobbling could be nice for some users and it links to the android player. Sound Quality seems excellent, best of the three so far. Pandora - Haven't gotten to use it too much because it takes so long to load my station. Sound Quality seemed fine with my limited use.
Slacker Radio - Has the most music options of the three and seems likes the best application. It has plenty of options like keeping the screen from freezing while plugged in and on wifi without having to change your phone settings. Had to stop listening from poor sound quality though! Sound Quality started ok but a bassy boom and click started appearing after a few songs, forced to switch to Last.FM.
ever since i put the leaked .3 version youtube has gone downhill. when i click on a video it seems like its loading but then a pop up comes on saying "video cannnot be played" even with the .6 update i did with the leaked ruu its the same. just tested it and it only does it when i have HQ enabled

Google Phones were handed out to all Google employees. The phone is apparently going to be sold directly by Google and apparently available in January. I'm not sure who the attorneys for Verizon are, but Google must have done some deft negotiations to be able to pull this off. They just shafted Motorala, Verizon - and us - in the butt. I'm pretty sure, post Christmas, Droid updates and fixes will become non-existent as Google focuses on their own offering. Google is indeed Microsoft with a crayola logo.

But now when I am streaming pandora and the phone rings I can barely hear the people on the other end. Really scratchy, but its fine once I pull the aux cable out. I also added the new baseband that pete put out that was said to be for Froyo? Not sure if it is the new baseband, even though I get more bars in more places....(tired ass ATT slogan, even though I work there)

However,starting yesterday I haven't been able to play any of my music, videos, online videos, nothing. The error I get mainly is "file cannot be displayed or played" or something like "audio file not supported" when I try to play music.

I have been getting this problem since the 2.1 update... didn't get better or worse after I rooted to froyo 2.2 and overclocked to 1200mhz.

VERY annoying youtube issue..
With just about ANY video i try to play on youtube while using EVDO, i am greeted with this message after about a 30 second "loading" loop

I'm logged in my youtube account and m connected to my wifi at my house. But the problem that m having is that everytime i go to upload the video, It continues to say Waiting to Retry.. It keeps saying that for like 15 minutes until eventually it says Failed Network Error.. The wifi is working fine when trying to browse Internet. I deleted the cache and data in youtube as well.. I just cant understand what would be causing this, but its really annoying.. I really wish someone could help me please.. I don't know what else to do. I even created a new youtube account to sync with my gmail, and that didn't work either

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try to log into my youtube account on my Droid, it freezes up. I will open the Youtube app, press menu and click My account. Then it has 2 choices: 1) My email address, 2) Add account. When I click on my email it freezes up and eventually the Droid gives me the option to "Force close" it, as it is not responding. I also tried "Add account" and typed in my email address (which had already shown up as the first choice) and password, and it said "authenticating" and then froze up too.
