I just got a droid yesterday and my friend said i had to get this app. I installed it, but when i create a station, nothing ever comes up just has that thing spinning in the center. is there somethin else i need so it will play?

Sometimes Pandora won't play and my music player gives the error "this media file format is not supported..."The problems accompany each other, and are fixed by restarting the phone.
View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently my DROID updated, and since then my PANDORA radio and Youtube have not played on my phone. It will say unable to retrieve music from Pandora, and youtube it will say unable to play videos.
I have done all updates for the apps, and still nothing.
Can anybody tell me if I can get Pandora in the UK? If not anything similar?

View 4 Replies View RelatedAnyone else starting to get streaming ads with Pandora? I know they've been doing this with the iPhone app for a while, but didn't think it had come to Android yet. I've been using the android app for 8+ months with NO ads, then today I get 2 within the first 10 minutes of listening.
I'm not talking about the banner picture ads, I have those blocked with AdFree. It comes on between songs and I had one for McDonalds and one for KFC.
Will the horrible quality of Pandora since Froyo was launched be fixed anytime soon?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently attempted to download an update to pandora on my motorola droid, and it completed download but gave a download unsuccessful error message, when tapping on it, it brought me into the market and told me the package was not signed correctly.
My question is, is it hitting everyone or is it just me? and if its just me, anyone know how to fix it?
Has anyone else noticed that the pandora widget isn't available any more? I have a Nexus One with 2.2 loaded on it. For the past couple of weeks it has been missing and I wanted to make sure that it was just me, or if others are also seeing this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI can't figure it out. At first I thought I had a blown speaker (specifically the front left speaker) because it makes popping/cracking noises VERY bad when playing music. After some experimentation, however, I found that it's only when using Pandora. If I play music from my phone off last.fm or internal memory, or non-phone sources like my other MP3 player or FM radio, there is no crackling no matter how loud I go (and for reference it happens more noticeably at low volumes, I can crank it up and drown out the popping mostly).
What gives? If I listen to pandora with headphones there is almost no problem, although on some songs I can kinda-sorta hear the popping.
I'm using the motorola droid if it's relevant (although I don't think that has anything to do with the problem).
I live in the UK, are there any alternatives to Pandora Radio? Or is there a way for me to get Pandora? As people rave about it but it is not available on the market for myself.

Apparently too much.While trying to listen to Pandora through my Blue Tooth speaker set, the music gets interrupted by very quick pauses. Of course, this usually happens at it's worst when I'm trying to show someone how well my Droid works, just like everything else on my phone.I use Advanced Task Killer, but things do pop back up. It doesn't help. Then I see stupid things like Tesla LED app refuses to be shut down in the background. (WTH?.)Do I need to partition my SD card with a "clean" ROM just to be able to use Pandora and other streaming media without interruption? Or am I missing something setting wise?Satellite was on, WiFi was on (right near a router), etc.

I want to stream it with the screen turned off while I'm at work, and was wondering if anyone knows how long I could get out of it. This is on a G1.
Anyone have any ideas? I can't imagine Pandora needs to know my co-workers email addresses to determine what songs I like. If there isn't another logical explanation I have to assume they're collecting contact data.

View 16 Replies View RelatedDunno what's going on. When I first got my phone Pandora was flawless. Then after awhile it would fail to load songs and lockup (I'd have to kill the process and restart Pandora to get it to work again). Then it got to the point where it would randomly stop mid-song and just skip ahead on its own or fail completely. Now it won't even load. None of my stations load at all. I'd rather not have to resort to using a different service, since I have my Pandora stations setup nearly perfectly

Whenever i plug my phone into my car (which is a lexus is 250 2008) through the auxiliary jack, voice dial comes on and starts going crazy when i start up Pandora. It will start skipping tracks and sometimes calling the last person on my redial list. It also does this with slacker. I tried going to manage apps and turning off voice dial and it still comes back on. I didn't have this issue in my friends car and a verizon tech told me that maybe my car is trying to read my phone when i hook it up through the jack. I want to know if anybody else had this issue and if so what is the solution.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I got back from lunch, I suddenly noticed several of my apps were showing uninstalled from my home screen. Here are 3 examples:
1) Pandora - Icon turned to the android and would not load
2) Bible - same as pandora
3) Appbrain - same as pandora
When I checked all apps, they were missing. I went into the android market and reinstalled them. The only thing I have done is move some of my apps to the sd card. Did this cause a problem? I did this over the weekend.
I almost always listen to Pandora while driving, and at times want to know the artist or song playing. To do this, I have to unlock my screen, which is a bit difficult driving on the freeway.So, basically, is there any way to get Pandora to show on the lock screen? I came up with a couple of solutions, but they aren't ideal:
1) Charge my phone in the car, and thus avoid the lock screen all together by having the screen always on.
2) Use No Lock
