Tonight my brother came over with his BB Storm 2 and was telling me how awesome open gl games were on His storm. He than said ifbb has them than android should for sure.

I Recently got a Motorola Fire XT317, well, its my OWN first android phone. I Just got some games like Jetpack joyride and Fruit Ninja, they run really well.
But i wanted to run a specific game, called True Skate. But when i open it, there's a 1 sec black screen then a message saying: The Process com.trueaxis.trueskate has stopped working. I Actually want to know if i can solve this, and if its a software or a hardware problem.
Im Running Android 2.3.7, and the min requested by the app is 2.3+

I am setting up an open source 3D game engine for android. What license should we use? Thought we'd go with something like BSD or maybe GPL/LGPL, but getting confused about it. Want a license that helps developers - doesn't hinder them - and an engine that's as open as possible.

It doesn't give me the option to "start" is shows the phone and that it is connected but still no "start" option. Running Vista as the admin. anybody have some input they could give me?
View 2 Replies View Relatedi have 3 different pdf viewer apps downloaded including the documents to go one that was 15 bucks. the problem is, there are certain types of pdf attachments that still wont open (they are text pdfs), picture pdfs do work. it says "this attachment cannot be displayed" after it tries to fetch it.

I'm trying not to have to lose all my data by wiping. It seems stable enough except the market / contacts issue. Tried fixing permissions, didn't help. Wondering if I need to get a updated contact - market. No idea. I've already got a backup of a wiped upgrade but was hoping this would work as my SMS data disappears with a wipe not to mention the rest of my data. Leaving the data is working more stable than when I wiped and tried that, except market / contacts. Wiping I'm getting fcs and battery pulls.

View 8 Replies View RelatedFirst off, my X is rooted, running the original leaked 2.2. This morning, my stock camera app stopped working. I click on the app to open it, and it flashes a black screen for 1-2 seconds before returning to the home screen. It was working perfectly fine last night when I took 20+ pictures. The strange thing is that I have done absolutely nothing as far as messing with the phone. Not even a single app downloaded for the past 2 weeks (been busy on vacation!). The hardware is fine too, because I can take photos with Vignette. A battery pull and about 5 restarts has not solved the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this? Or is my only option to do a factory reset? Also, can I restore all my apps easily with titanium backup paid edition?

Its been working fine until this weekend, really. 3 separate times, it's failed to load my inbox or sync new messages, and it pops up with the unable to open connection to server message.Ive quadruple checked all of my settings, removed my account, re-added my account, refreshed it, and still, it wont sync my inbox and it still shows that message. I even tried installing touchdown, and touchdown wouldnt sync my email either? I didnt like how it kept my contacts all separate from my gmail contacts, so I went ahead and uninstalled it. I REALLY just want to use the regular exchange email program..But get this, I am able to sync my sent mail though, and Im able to SEND email messages, just not receive them.
We have our own exchange server for our company, and we have 4 other people in our office running exchange on their phones, (2 Motorola Droids, 1 Droid X, and an HTC 6800...) Nobody else is having issues with their phones syncing their email so I know this isnt an exchange issue, but a phone issue instead.Ive run an update (just the *228) on my phone, reset it like 3 times, killed all the apps, and it still wont sync my inbox (just my sent mail..) And again, it'll send email but wont receive it.I know calling or going into a verizon store will be a waste of time.
I just followed the manual instructions to force update to 2.2 and it went smoothly; now I cannot open Handcent SMS or the droid Messaging app they both freeze and force close.
