Motorola Droid :: DGT Compass - Need Phone Tester
Dec 27, 2009I've recently published a new release of my compass "DGT Compass" but unfortunately. I'm receiving some negative feedback from Droid owners. Not very useful those feedbacks just saying "it doesn't work on Droid!". I would appreciate more details from some Droid tester.

Jan 27, 2010Does anyone know of an app that can test what frequencies are being used in the area? I'm trying to figure out if something is interfering with my wireless router, and if so what it is. I've got "WiFi analyzer", but that doesn't show anything other than wireless signals directly from routers, even though a cordless phone runs on the same basic frequency.
In other words, I'd like to find an app that shows what frequencies are present near my phone, including what my phone is putting out. Is that possible?
Motorola Droid :: How To Removing Application From Phone?
Apr 27, 2010I posted b this in the troubleshooting forum, but few people look there, I guess. I tried to update mixing and it failed a few times. I didn't think much about it until I decided to spring for the paid version. I bought it, but it wouldn't upload either. So I went to un install mixing in hopes that a fresh re-install would fix the problem, but there's no option to un install. I have my apps backed up, so I tried un installing mixzing that way, but it fails. The app itself works fine. Mixing may have been bundled with UD 9.8, my current ROM, but I'm not sure. I guess ultimately what I need help with is completely removing the app so I can start with a fresh install.(Switching, or even reinstalling the ROM is simply not an option. It takes me days to get my phone back the way I like it.

Sep 17, 2010I seem to be having an issue with my stock Settings manager being missing after a miss-click by my girlfriend when she was using my phone. She accidentally hit the "Install" for the FRG22d when I had my droid running the original 2.2 rooted. It installed, and came back up. Root was gone, and so was the option to use Settings. It still shows when I hit the menu button, but if I select it, nothing happens. And it is also no longer listed in my app drawer now. I re-rooted my phone hoping it would bring it back, but it's still gone. Can I reinstall the APK for it? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Oct 15, 2010Everytime I open up the yahoo messenger app it literally makes my DX burning hot drains the hell out of my battery, and it slows to a crawl. Shutting down the app only seems to help if it hasn't been open for very long and I normally have to do a complete phone restart to get it back to normal.

Nov 25, 2010I just bought my Droid X a couple of weeks ago (2.2 and Rooted). It wanted to do some auto app updates and I told it to do them all not sure if it was before or after that that I noticed a red light by the ear "piece/speaker" and the phone was on and a battery level warning came on which I thought was premature. I plugged in the power cord the light went to green and I looked over a few minutes later and it was dead. I could be a little off on what happened when but that's what happened.
It wont power on now and I've tried holding a few different buttons while powering on and still nothing. I did check the settings the other day and it was successfully backing itself up not sure how to use that backup though. I just looked over after typing this post and the Motorola "M" was on the screen but I couldn't get it to do anything so I pulled the battery and tried again to boot it and nothing.

Mar 9, 2010I am trying to figure out why my app forces close immediately on a nexus one (recurring comment which is dragging my rating down). Ironically, I heard a rumor that if I had just a half star more (up to 3.5 from 3), I would qualify to get a free nexus one from google. If anybody has a nexus one and can connect it up to get the logcat dump of the stack trace of the error. You can find my app by searching for "Compass Ball" on the market.

Aug 19, 2010Droid X - Configured with a Google Apps Premiere, working great. Attempting to add a personal GMail account. Go to the GMail app, select add account, fill in the metrics and then...... "Needs to communicate" message for ~ 3 minutes, then bombs out with - "Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server". 3G is fine, on a wifi connection that is fine, web browser works fine..... Google Apps account works fine.

Apr 18, 2010I am switching all of my data from my HTC Droid Eris to a brand new replacement. My google account has uploaded all my contacts to the replacement and I switched the SD cards which took care of my saved Pics etc. None of my apps have shown up on the replacement besides the pre existing loaded ones from HTC and google.
