I have dial up internet so i got the app easy tether on my droid and tried to connect to xbox live using my computer. When i did this it said it encountered an MTU error.what exactly is this and how can i fix it. Also how much data do you think playing on live would use because isn't there a "5 gb limit" on the unlimited phone plan.

I am wanting to cancel my ISP.so my question is how do I set it up using my evo and a usb connection.i can root just no real desire to do so and I am not against paying for the app if it will work for me. do I just plug in my evo via usb and work with the internet settings on the system...has any one done this with real success?

But, the Xbox 360 isn't seeing it and the Droid displays "Sorry, your SD card is busy (in use.. something like that)."Any other gamer dorks out there had success with this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently installed launcher pro beta (which I love) and removed home++ which I had been using for some time. I've also installed the latest update for launcher pro.As part of this change I added some live wallpaper. Funny thing is that my phone (droid) will just spontaneously revert back to the background I was using with home++. The live wallpaper will work for a short time, then I'll turn my phone on and, voila, old background. I can't even find that background anywhere on my phone.I have no idea why my phone is doing this and how I can delete this rogue background from replacing my live wallpaper.

I realize that it is better to be in a service but this is just a test. Anyways it seems to be working fine except for in froyo my error listener gets an unknown error about every 10 seconds. Infolistener and bufferinglistener are also never called.
my hack of sorts using the errorlistener to catch the error and restart the stream is working but since the error happens every 10 seconds or so it is making the audio very choppy.
I also get a system log that says MediaPlayer error (1, -2147483648) before each crash also AwesomePlayer Not sending buffering status because duration is unknown.
I assume the second error is because its a live stream and it has no end, however how do you handle that case.
I've been trying to make a simple live wallpaper out of a boot animation. So basically i have about 50 .pngs in my drawable folder. I'm able to set the animation to about 10-20 frames and it works great. But once i set it to about 30 frames...I get an OutOfMemory Error. I was hoping maybe someone could take a look at my code and maybe give an example of how I could achieve more frames? That would help so much i've been looking at this for hours > <

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been searching and can't figure out if the Droid GPS/map function supports a 'live map' view which will display and follow my vehicle's progress realtime, similar to how standalone GPS devices (I have a Garmin Nuvi) will show your vehicle as it travels along roads in realtime.I know this view will come up after you've given the navigation something to find, but I'm hoping this is not required and I can just pull up a live view while driving.Sometimes it's very useful to see cross street names and other details while on the road around town, so hoping this is possible.
