Just saw this posted on Engadget: Xbox Live launch titles for Windows Phone 7 finally revealed, we've got the full preview Engadget.Really this is the one compelling feature I've seen so far on Windows phone 7. I'm a big time gamer (specifically xbox 360) and I love the idea of always being connected to Xbox Live and my friends list. Is there a chance this might make its way to Android?

Since open spark doesn't work anymore are there any other xbox live apps available?
Will there ever be another app since live is a key component of win 7 mobile maybe ms have stopped the apps working for a reason?

View 7 Replies View RelatedIm gonna try and revive the issue of the MTU settings.i can connect and play alright, but maybe, the MTU settings are preventing xbox live from downloading updates for games and system?anyone have a fix? workaround?
I'm on vista, connecting my xbox to the comp, and using internet connection sharing as usual, tethered to my G1.ive already tried changing the MTU settings via CMD console but it does nothing

I am wanting to cancel my ISP.so my question is how do I set it up using my evo and a usb connection.i can root just no real desire to do so and I am not against paying for the app if it will work for me. do I just plug in my evo via usb and work with the internet settings on the system...has any one done this with real success?

When i did this it said it encountered an MTU error.what exactly is this and how can i fix it. Also how much data do you think playing on live would use because isn't there a "5 gb limit" on the unlimited phone plan.
View 3 Replies View Relatedjust moved my computer into a different room.However there is no internet in this room so i have to connect by PDANET.The PDANET is connecting to my WIFI which im hoping to share to my xbox to be able to play online in here, as this is the only monitor/screen i have.I have connected using my macbook / PDANET / 3G (It's being repaired).. and that worked fine but for the life of me i can't get it to connect with my desktop

The live streaming sites that I know of do not work due to flash, so maybe I just have to wait for flash updates. I got excited when I noticed the Ustream Viewer beta app, but it only has featured channels which I have yet to see an NHL game on or any sport for that matter.

I had sprint nfl on my old blackberry and I was at least able to listen to the radio broadcast. I saw a verizon commercial a few days ago that looked like they have nfl games broadcasted over the phone. Is there anyway to watch games on the Epic?

I was trying to watch a live world cup game on my Desire today via the BBC website but had no joy? I also tried to watch highlights from a previous match and highlights from Rockness music festival but still no joy? Adobe does not support this was the warning i got but i thought the Desire supported this with its Adobe flash player? I want it to ring and behave like thereīs a real call (without the need of a second phone).
I searched the whole web. In the emulator I would telnet it and type "gsm call 12345", but I donīt know how to do it on a real device (rooted).
I provide a small tool called PatternControl via the market that give the users the opportunity to temporary deactivate the Android "lock pattern" for a definable amount of time. With other words: After entering the pattern, the pattern becomes deactivated for i.e. 5mins and re activates it self afterwards. Until now (Android < 2.2) this was only possible by changing the settings directly, because there was no related API provided. (i.e.with something like set Boolean (Settings .System.LOCK_PATTERN_ENABLED, enabled)) It is clear that this in not a good way, but from my knowledge there was no alternative. My hope was, that Froyo would introduce a new API to handle things like that "legally". With the new security model of Android 2.2 writing to this kind of settings is now disallowed and the PolicyManager class seems just to offer password complexity options. So here is my question: Is there still any way to temporary deactivate the "lock pattern" as long as Android does not support such a delay functions natively?

I then went to go find the update again only to find out that my system claimed to be up to date and my phone was still at 2.1 update 1.

I bought it on contract from orange so when I received the phone I gave them the PAC code so that I could keep my old o2 phone number. That change took effect today and ever since my mobile internet hasn't been working. Would this be a problem with the phone itself or do I need to give orange a ring when I get a chance?
View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a deadspot on my screen in the bottom left hand corner. so anytime i want to hit the Shift button or type "z" or "c" i have turn my phone sideways. then as soon as i start typing that way i have to turn my sideways again to type "m" or hit the NUM button.i signed a 2 year contract with Verizon after they convinced me to buy the Eris instead of the MotoDroid. after this one it will be my 3RD Eris. the earpiece in the first one died within a month and this one is the buggiest, slowest, most horrible batter life ever phone (not to mention a dead spot in the screen). are there any chances they'll upgrade me to a better phone and this p.o.s.? or when you bring it in to get it replaced do they just ship you a new crappy Eris?
