I have been using the stock live wallpapers on my droid which I really like, I have also seen that they don't use a lot of battery power. Is there any good live wallpapers in the market that don't use a lot of power? I downloaded "shake them all" live wallpaper from the market but it runs like 50% battery usage, where the stock ones use like 5-12%.

I installed 2.1 last week, the problem is that on the stock home screen when i touch the wallpaper no response come in as an effect. If i have Helix Launcher, it responses to any touches.

Has anyone found a Live Wallpaper that essentially the "nexus" live wallpaper, without the grey pyramid background? I really like this live wallpaper however I would prefer to see it on a black background. I swear I have seen a video with this running, however I cannot find it in the market. Turned off live wallpaper and battery lasts twice as long period. I still have Beautiful Home Weather but the live background is now off and I can get through two days on one charge. I know this is not rocket science but question yourself if you need a live wallpaper or better, much better, battery life.

When I turn the phone off to charge at the end of the day, upon restart it defaults to the htc colors wallpaper.Is there something I'm doing wrong, is there a setting I'missed to retain the "water" live wallpaper after restart, or is this just normal behavior?

I'm very new to android development and to get started I've started modifying the android ask sample 'shape wallpaper'. I've added a touch ripple, change resources etc and removed the more basic example. If I have my se xperia x10 plugged in and run the app it downloads to the phone and once started works great. I then unplug the phone and the wallpaper keeps working for approximately 24 hours. It then slows redrawing dramatically then displays nothing - I can't even load the settings page

Motorola Milestone :: Missing Speech To Text And Ripple Effect On Live Wallpaper

I have a unlocked unbranded brand new milestone I got couple days ago and it came with 2.0 firmware.So it installed no problems but compared to my nephews droid 2.1 from verizon his has the live wallpaper like mine does, but on his when you hit the screen of the live wallpaper you see the ripple effect but on my I dont.
Also Mines missing the speecn to text also, I dotn see a microphone icon in the virtual keyboard when in a text field, also when he holds the search button at the bottom a speak now command comes up for you to say something, anyone know why Im missing these?

My question is since the live wallpapers is an apk and it has been ported to a few other devices, why has it not been ported to the droid eris. We know that with the OTA we won't be getting live wallpapers, so for the people that want them I say we should try to port it over to the Eris. Unfortunately I have close to no knowledge on how to port. If anyone knows how to and is willing to it would be greatly appreciated.
