So I have trying to access this website

But it does not stream the video. When I click zoom it states the Java Applet is downloading but nothing ever happens are the video is never displayed.
What do I have to do to see the video? Or is it not even possible to view?
I am using the moto droid.

In a cross-plattform project, where MyLogger should be static to make it available in the whole project.
So I was trying something like:

The compiler complains about the static. How do I do this? Is it possible at all? If not, what's the right approach?
I would like to a WebView to run some JavaScript before loading the rest of the page. This JavaScript should run in the same context of the page, just as if extra <script> content were added before any other <script> content. This is not possible with add Java script Interface() since I want to set up some instance variables, before the page scripts are run, so that the page scripts can use them.

This includes, of course, Eclipse. When I try to open the res/main.xml file, I get the error 'could not initialize class java.awt.font'.I'm running the newest version of Eclipse and all the software required for Android development. I'm running on Ubuntu 10.04 32bit. Sun JDK and JRE are installed.

While trying to work on an Android project, I ALWAYS get the following error:
"The applet is attempting to access the file "isFile" state attributes..."
Plus 3 buttons: Allow, Disallow and Stop applet.
It keeps popping this message, sometimes 10-20 times in a row until it leaves me alone. Then on the next file save, update or changes to the project, it shows the message again.

I've done changes in an Android native library and installed a new system.img file but am now getting an unrelated Error on startup. I can get past it by swallowing the error but I wanted to know if anyone can explain what the issue is.
The Android implementation of Logger.java claims that it is Forcing the LogManager to be initialized since its class init code performs necessary one-time setup. But this forced initialization results in a NoClassDefFoundError. I'm thinking that it has something to do with the class not having been preloaded by Zygote yet but am not that familiar with the whole class loaders and VM business.

View 4 Replies View RelatedToday I was handed by 'support my tablet (Chinese rebranded) and they gave me the new model. Which, as already happened to me once on a rom for the old model (solved by changing rom) that the 'application youtube, when playing HD video upload of videos about 50sec and then stops charging, obviously causing blockage of the video.
I installed the 'latest version of youtube from the market (that I added because the series is not present) and in any case if I look at the videos from the site you can see ... like this? (obviously not a problem with the network or wifi)
if I disable the 'HQ and reactivated the video start again for another 50sec and then stops.
I'm trying to load 2.2 on my droid
I opened Droid X Bootstrapper and hit bootstrap recovery and got Success!
I then opened Rom Manager Flashed clockworkmod recovery, went to download rom, stock images, and downloaded Verizon Droid X 2.2, I first tried just backup existing rom, and then tried wiping data also, then tried neither of the two, none seemed to help the issue
Phone then reboots, goes to motorola screen then starts to install rom
Then it says
-assert failed: apply_patch_check (" /system/app/AdService/apk" , and alot of numbers and letters)
-Error in (location of file in sdcard)
(status 7)
installation aborted

Can someone give me a list of needed programs and apps that i would need to go forward..........AND the order in which i should load them?
I have Titanium Backup and have done a backup with it. I have the full 2,2 SBF on my PC with RSDlite.
I know this has probably been asked a million times but a step by step would be nice (for me at least). I am reasonably tech but am a very nervous person.
I have backed up all the settings for LP on my SD card. I have ASTRO and I see it there, I just have no idead how to retrieve all the files to allo my D1 to re-load LP again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just received a brand new Droid from Verizon to replace my latest refurb Eris because of all the call problems i have had. I figured I could just swap the 8gb SD card I was using in my Eris (because it's a class 6) and put it in my Droid. But when I went to the gallery it started acting really strange. It seems it's having trouble loading all the images, and it's been kind of jumping around and behaving erratically. Is there anything I need to do to my card?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have read quite a bit on task killers and decided that I didn't want to use them, but a friend of mine who has a G1 brought up an interesting point. He told me to look at the programs that are currently running. So I did and saw that there were about 7 that were running in the background that I NEVER use. I understand that you don't want to be constantly shutting down programs you use because it will make your phone run slower (can't access them as quickly). But what about programs I never use? I only use the GMAIL ap, so I don't need the email or the corporate email running. I don't have virtual voice mail, so I don't need that... and so on. Right now, rooting is beyond me, so I'm not going to do that. Are there any other options other than rooting to keep these from loading?

It started out as the phone lagging and everything and I went to a representative for Verizon and told me to get the application Advanced Tasked Killer to kill all the task so it won't lag. It worked for awhile and it started again even though I used that application. I pulled out the battery to restart it and its stuck at the android eye loading icon. What do i do? get it replaced?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI still have rooting on 2.1 but every time I run 2.2 (with the superuser icon), I try to run a program like setcpu (y'know because I thought I was rooted) or any other program that requires root. It still doesn't work and says "no rooted access detected". I load up the superuser app no messages or anything just a black screen. I've tried the "update.zip fix" about 20x and still nothing. Am I doing the update wrong or something? Cause reboot in recovery with clockwork mod and hit "apply update.zip".
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid about a week after release, and have really loved it. A few minor issues here or there, but nothing overly worrisome. In the past few weeks, I've noticed when I'm in an app (and it's not just one or two, it can be almost any app - Dolphin, USA Today, Pocket Kingdoms, etc), and I press home, it takes about 3 seconds for the app to go away and my home screen to show up. However, when the home screen does show up, it just shows my wallpaper, and then takes 5-10-15 seconds for the shortcuts and widgets to load.
My home page(s) are not terribly widget oriented at all. When I restart the phone it fixes it for a couple of days, but then starts up again. I've really just noticed it since the most recent OS update. Anyone else 1.) have this issue, and 2.) know a permanent fix? It's really rather aggravating, especially when I'm in a hurry before going into a meeting or something. I can give some more specific information if needed, as far as specific widgets and apps I'm running, etc. I'm using stock 2.1, no mods or anything.
I'm Running 2.2, CyanogenMod 6.0.0, using a Chevyno1 LV 1.0 ghz kernel with FRG22D.My home screens take forever to load after i do anything, from checking a text message, to reading the news on an app. It takes about 4 or 5 seconds to have all my widgets and icons load up. I'm OCing it to 1.0 ghz and it still loads slow. My phone performs fast overall except for this. I have five screens on my Launcher Pro home, and each one has just one widget. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Can I clear any caches?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using the ROM Manager but I have had this issue too when using the nandroid methods.
When I install just about ANY ROM other than the Cyanogen ROM I have issues with boot looping. Its very odd. If I am running the Cyanogen ROM I have no issues at all. I get the boot loop immediately after loading the ROM. No applications have been installed yet, and I have not even had the chance to do any restores using Titanium Backup.
The latest ROM I attempted was the Steam Dark Edge 1.2. Before that I have tried the Bugless Beast (Prior to 1.0) and with both I have boot loop issues. Also the same with the latest Ultimate Droid and Smoked Glass. So it must be something I'm doing or not doing.
If Im in the ROM manager I choose the option to allow the wipe. I have also booted into the Clockwork Recovery and manually wiped 2 times and attempted the update and again, boot loop.
When I am doing the ROM install from ROM Manager, the phone is running Cyanogen at the latest version. I don't remember ever installing a custom kernel but with all of the ROMS I have messed with over time I may have however that should be cleared with the wipe correct?
Every time I reboot my phone, any widgets that were on my screens prior to the reboot will have the "Problem loading widget" message when the phone boots back up. I'm running BBv0.2 with the Clean Black theme by Team Chaos. Using Chevy 1ghz and LauncherPro home replacement. All of the widgets apps are stored on the phone's internal storage, NOT on the SD card. Is this a common issue? I have the sneaking suspicion that LauncherPro might be the culprit. Every time I boot up, upon the initial opening of the lock screen the default Froyo launcher comes up. I have to hit the home button and wait a few moments before my LauncherPro screens come up.
