Motorola Droid :: Rackspace Web Mail - Stuck On Log In Loading Screen?
Nov 9, 2009I can't log into Rackspace webmail from the Driod. It gets stuck on the log in "loading" screen. Any one else have this problem, or know a solution?

Sep 1, 2010I've entered all of the correct info to connect to my corporate exchange server, but immediately after setting up the account (and on all subsequent attempts to get into that email account), the "Loading..." screen appears with a spinning wheel and never goes away.
End result is that I cannot receive any email from that account nor can I pull down my contacts.
I am connected to my gmail account just fine.

May 22, 2010Today I tried to restore my phone back to stock ROM and as I was trying to get into recovery mode and complete a nand restore but it wouldn't let me get in. It would just reboot me back into bootloader. I tried updating my superboot and recovery image to 1.7 and it's just stuck at the loading screen now. Is there anyway to restore it?

May 16, 2014The app is stuck on loading screen, despite restarts, clearing cache, etc. It won't load on my Nexus 5 (wifi or cellular data) or my NVIDIA Shield. Other apps that require internet seem to be working fine on both devices. This has been ongoing for at least a couple hours now.

Aug 21, 2010It seems after only a fortnight or so from getting my new Desire (unlocked and unrooted) I've already run into a problem I can't seem to fix. I was running a game (I believe it was Asphalt HD) while on the charger when my screen went completely black and I found myself at the boot screen. It finished booting but then got stuck on a frozen "loading" screen. I restarted it and it worked fine, I assumed it was the app and tried another one. About ten minutes in I got another black screen and the phone started booting again. Only this time it would do the animated logo, then crash and try to reboot again, over and over until I pulled the battery. Only now it wont boot at all, it will simply sit on the initial HTC boot screen indefinitely. It won't turn off the screen or anything, just sit there in a frozen state.
So far I've tried removing the SD and even SIM cards, leaving it off to charge the battery, doing a factory reset from the boot screen, etc. But every single time, whether I turn it on normally or use the bootloader, all I get is the single "switched on" vibration and the HTC screen, and it just freezes there. I already spent quite a while waiting for this phone to arrive, I REALLY don't want to send it back to the store because it was bought through an importer and I'm worried it will take a very long time for any repairs/replacements. I will if I'm forced to but I would much rather find more methods I could try.

May 26, 2010I got my Droid about a week after release, and have really loved it. A few minor issues here or there, but nothing overly worrisome. In the past few weeks, I've noticed when I'm in an app (and it's not just one or two, it can be almost any app - Dolphin, USA Today, Pocket Kingdoms, etc), and I press home, it takes about 3 seconds for the app to go away and my home screen to show up. However, when the home screen does show up, it just shows my wallpaper, and then takes 5-10-15 seconds for the shortcuts and widgets to load.
My home page(s) are not terribly widget oriented at all. When I restart the phone it fixes it for a couple of days, but then starts up again. I've really just noticed it since the most recent OS update. Anyone else 1.) have this issue, and 2.) know a permanent fix? It's really rather aggravating, especially when I'm in a hurry before going into a meeting or something. I can give some more specific information if needed, as far as specific widgets and apps I'm running, etc. I'm using stock 2.1, no mods or anything.

Sep 7, 2010I'm Running 2.2, CyanogenMod 6.0.0, using a Chevyno1 LV 1.0 ghz kernel with FRG22D.My home screens take forever to load after i do anything, from checking a text message, to reading the news on an app. It takes about 4 or 5 seconds to have all my widgets and icons load up. I'm OCing it to 1.0 ghz and it still loads slow. My phone performs fast overall except for this. I have five screens on my Launcher Pro home, and each one has just one widget. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Can I clear any caches?

Jul 16, 2010So I'm relatively new to rooting. I'm running BB .4, and that went okay. I'm trying to install a theme using ROM Manager. I backup and wipe and it loads into recovery and all that. That runs okay. Then, when it's rebooting, it gets stuck on the DROID screen. Well,actually, it does it once, goes to the Droid eye, and then just repeats the DROID screen over and over. A battery pull allows me to get back into recovery, which lets me restore my back up and then it boots just fine, but I'd really like to make my phone purple. Any ideas?

Nov 28, 2010I rooted my phone and have been using the 3G hotspot and some overclocking apps. Today I decided to load a custom rom. I did some research and bought Rom Manager and Bootstrap. I did the bootstrap and than rebooted to recovery. Than I installed rubix from the sd Card. I found someone else with the problem here and people told them to pull the battery and get into recovery. When I do that I get a droid with an exclamation mark screen. I cant seem to get into recovery or do anything and I am stuck at the rubix boot screen. It seems my problem is because I did not wipe my date or clear cache when installing... but I can't get into recovery to re-do it!

I had to reboot the phone 5 times to get it work and it was fine; however, i just installed flash and have rebooted 5 times and the phone screen is still stuck at the Motorola symbol upon restart. I can hear emails coming in and i can turn the screen on and off but no go. Looks like I am going to Verizon.

Sep 22, 2010Recieved the Froyo update last night. Hit install, every thing went well up untill the reboot. Stuck on Motorola screen. Took out the Battery ,, nothin still stuck on Motorola screen. Took it to Verizon they couldnt figure it out, Talked to Tech support which is really good at Verizon by the way. They were stumped. So in the end they are sending me a Brand new DX, with an extra SD card and Battery. Not a refurb. So I feel lucky at best.

Motorola Droid :: Flashing First ROM - Stuck At Cyanogen Boot Animation Screen
Sep 27, 2010For the past 2 hours I have been searching this site and reading about Rooting and Flashing new ROM's etc. and I'm still having trouble. I downloaded Cyanogen 6.0.0 and when the phone re booted it got stuck at the Cyanogen boot animation screen, and when I pulled the Battery and rebooted in to recovery I was able to restore everything and now the phone works again.
So first off, how long should it take after downloading a new ROM to boot back up with the new ROM installed? And how can I save the ROM in to the SD card? And when I go to DL Cyanogen it asks which home application I should use and gives me ADWlauncher and Launcher 2 as options.

Aug 22, 2010I'm kind of new to Rooting and Roms but I keep getting the same problem while installing Roms using Rom Manager. I flash and then I install the ROM and everything goes well until the boot up screen. It gets stuck in a loop of the Droid and Droid Eye animation and I have to restore it. Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? I am using the Droid with Froyo, rooted using Easy Root.

Nov 25, 2010I just bought my Droid X a couple of weeks ago (2.2 and Rooted). It wanted to do some auto app updates and I told it to do them all not sure if it was before or after that that I noticed a red light by the ear "piece/speaker" and the phone was on and a battery level warning came on which I thought was premature. I plugged in the power cord the light went to green and I looked over a few minutes later and it was dead. I could be a little off on what happened when but that's what happened.
It wont power on now and I've tried holding a few different buttons while powering on and still nothing. I did check the settings the other day and it was successfully backing itself up not sure how to use that backup though. I just looked over after typing this post and the Motorola "M" was on the screen but I couldn't get it to do anything so I pulled the battery and tried again to boot it and nothing.

Jul 14, 2010I've had a problem off and on with Appbrain getting stuck on "Loading" when I choose an application to update or download. After doing some Googling, I came across the suggestion that Google Talk needed to be running. I have been using Startup Auditor to keep Google Talk from running at all. I modified Startup Auditor to let Talk run and now I no longer have any problems with Appbrain.
