View 4 Replies View RelatedHaving already tried battery monitor and battery left, I'm wondering what is the best battery indicator. Battery monitor drains battery faster, and battery left, I've read and seen to be inaccurate. Any thoughts?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI woke up this morning and noticed that the temp was not showing on my phone, but sometimes it doesn't so I didn't think twice about it. I took it off the dock and went about my morning business. I signed on to my pc and noticed I Gmail mail but got no notifications on my phone. I then picked up my phone to see what was going on and had NO 3g indicator showing on top and could not access the web. I shut it down and turned it back on, got my mail notification and my 3g indicator back and can get online.
Has anyone had this happen before? It totally disconnected from the network it seems? It's never done such a thing before.
Was there no addition of a battery charging Indicator in the OTA? I only get a solid red light when my battery is below 15%, blinking green for notifications and a solid blue light for missed calls.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got one from the Dark Gray Status bar theme from over at XDA but would really just like the circle on top of the Nex Theme since its so awesome . Anyone know where I can get one at. Ive searched a lot of other forums and found some for other droids but didn't know if it would work with the X and most of them had to be installed through metamorph.
View 49 Replies View RelatedDon't see this reported anywhere yet, but my LED doesn't show any battery charging status. Its a little bit annoying, since I don't know if the phone is charging or not until i turn it on. Any clue what's going on, or if there's a hack/setting to fix it?

View 18 Replies View RelatedAnyone else notice that the green indicator light is blinking in a different spot? Don't think it's a big deal, maybe it's from the update. I really only noticed it b/c there's a cutout for the light on my Zagg skin and this new light placement is not in the cutout.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI was using the phone reading email and the battery indicator all of a sudden went from 50% to 5% and i got a prompt telling me to charge it. I knew this could not be right and i proved it by surfing the net for 10 mins and watching a video for 75 minutes before the phone died. Has anyone had this happen to them?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have BB 0.9 as well as the smokeless glass theme and noticed that on my SMS app, CHOMPS MS the LED does not work. I try to 'test notification' but the LED does not flash regardless of the color I choose. This is extremely annoying as I don't know when I have a text anymore unless I hear my phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as going back to Handcent but still no luck. Is there an easy solution for this? I'm hoping!

View 32 Replies View Relatedmy Droid X is doing something completely unacceptable. It misses calls. There's no ring, no missed call indicator, just suddenly a voicemail indicator pops up to tell me that someone left a voice message.Sometimes it only happens once, and will receive the next call without a problem.Sometimes it'll do it three or four calls in a row.I've already talked to Verizon about it, and they've gone through the script. Before I call to yell at them until they replace the phone with one that works, I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with the problem.
View 9 Replies View Relatedall these apps have battery life in increments of 10%. do any go by 1% ? for example, phone shows 82% battery life and not 80%...
View 16 Replies View RelatedI'm just trying to figure out what the heck that indicator is. Sorry, I'm a little new to all this. It looks like the phone but to the left is a weird squiggly line.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that the green 'online' status indicator in Talk doesn't update on my phone when someone signs off, it stays green for them. They show as offline on my PC but continue to show online on the Droid. If I sign out and back in to Talk on the phone it will update their status, but otherwise not. I've tried closing chat but that doesn't seem to work, I don't see anything in settings that would affect it either. Any ideas?
I'm the only one using Android, my other contacts are all using Talk online (not with a phone) if that makes a difference.
So, got this new "awesome" phone I've heard so much about and I'm starting to get really irritated and about to throw it against the wall.I've read tons of posts on this forum and others and can't get new rintones loaded, and advice? I've used the sync feature in Windows Media Player to load music, and when I go into the Music Player on the phone, they are all there, but show unknown artist, unknown albulm, whats the deal? I deleted them and re-loaded, same issue. I deleted again and did drag and drop and they dont show in the medai player at all.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to load 2.2 on my droid
I opened Droid X Bootstrapper and hit bootstrap recovery and got Success!
I then opened Rom Manager Flashed clockworkmod recovery, went to download rom, stock images, and downloaded Verizon Droid X 2.2, I first tried just backup existing rom, and then tried wiping data also, then tried neither of the two, none seemed to help the issue
Phone then reboots, goes to motorola screen then starts to install rom
Then it says
-assert failed: apply_patch_check (" /system/app/AdService/apk" , and alot of numbers and letters)
-Error in (location of file in sdcard)
(status 7)
installation aborted
I have been at this for the past few hours and its starting to annoy me, I just want 2.2 working so I can deodex it and run NexTheme.
I have a Droid X with OTA 2.2 with ROOT.
I would like to try a few ROMS that are out there.
Can someone give me a list of needed programs and apps that i would need to go forward..........AND the order in which i should load them?
I have Titanium Backup and have done a backup with it. I have the full 2,2 SBF on my PC with RSDlite.
I know this has probably been asked a million times but a step by step would be nice (for me at least). I am reasonably tech but am a very nervous person.
I have backed up all the settings for LP on my SD card. I have ASTRO and I see it there, I just have no idead how to retrieve all the files to allo my D1 to re-load LP again.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just received a brand new Droid from Verizon to replace my latest refurb Eris because of all the call problems i have had. I figured I could just swap the 8gb SD card I was using in my Eris (because it's a class 6) and put it in my Droid. But when I went to the gallery it started acting really strange. It seems it's having trouble loading all the images, and it's been kind of jumping around and behaving erratically. Is there anything I need to do to my card?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAnybody having web page loading really slow on the droid 2 compared to the X? Try engadget.com it just stalls at 75 percent for a while then finally finishes, really slow, maybe I will try a factor reset, anybody else?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have read quite a bit on task killers and decided that I didn't want to use them, but a friend of mine who has a G1 brought up an interesting point. He told me to look at the programs that are currently running. So I did and saw that there were about 7 that were running in the background that I NEVER use. I understand that you don't want to be constantly shutting down programs you use because it will make your phone run slower (can't access them as quickly). But what about programs I never use? I only use the GMAIL ap, so I don't need the email or the corporate email running. I don't have virtual voice mail, so I don't need that... and so on. Right now, rooting is beyond me, so I'm not going to do that. Are there any other options other than rooting to keep these from loading?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with my phone. It started out as the phone lagging and everything and I went to a representative for Verizon and told me to get the application Advanced Tasked Killer to kill all the task so it won't lag. It worked for awhile and it started again even though I used that application. I pulled out the battery to restart it and its stuck at the android eye loading icon. What do i do? get it replaced?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI still have rooting on 2.1 but every time I run 2.2 (with the superuser icon), I try to run a program like setcpu (y'know because I thought I was rooted) or any other program that requires root. It still doesn't work and says "no rooted access detected". I load up the superuser app no messages or anything just a black screen. I've tried the "update.zip fix" about 20x and still nothing. Am I doing the update wrong or something? Cause reboot in recovery with clockwork mod and hit "apply update.zip".
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid about a week after release, and have really loved it. A few minor issues here or there, but nothing overly worrisome. In the past few weeks, I've noticed when I'm in an app (and it's not just one or two, it can be almost any app - Dolphin, USA Today, Pocket Kingdoms, etc), and I press home, it takes about 3 seconds for the app to go away and my home screen to show up. However, when the home screen does show up, it just shows my wallpaper, and then takes 5-10-15 seconds for the shortcuts and widgets to load.
My home page(s) are not terribly widget oriented at all. When I restart the phone it fixes it for a couple of days, but then starts up again. I've really just noticed it since the most recent OS update. Anyone else 1.) have this issue, and 2.) know a permanent fix? It's really rather aggravating, especially when I'm in a hurry before going into a meeting or something. I can give some more specific information if needed, as far as specific widgets and apps I'm running, etc. I'm using stock 2.1, no mods or anything.
I'm Running 2.2, CyanogenMod 6.0.0, using a Chevyno1 LV 1.0 ghz kernel with FRG22D.My home screens take forever to load after i do anything, from checking a text message, to reading the news on an app. It takes about 4 or 5 seconds to have all my widgets and icons load up. I'm OCing it to 1.0 ghz and it still loads slow. My phone performs fast overall except for this. I have five screens on my Launcher Pro home, and each one has just one widget. Is there anything I can do to speed it up? Can I clear any caches?
