Droid 1 with Launcher Pro. Installed Beautiful Widgets and then Multicon. If I tap on Muliticon area there is a yellow resize box that can only be removed by rotating the screen. Same applies to BW Weather. How do I get rid of the "yellow box" resize screen without rotating Droid?

Down in the bottom left corner its yellow almost looks burnt or something....anyone else have this? and what a pain in the ass to get a phone replaced threw worry free..if you ordered online to avoid the rebate you still have to do a rebate to get a replacement and they say i have to pay for the phone with a credit card what the hell

In restoreManagedDialogs, it has something to do with mManagedDialogs.As you can see, for advanced feature, you must do the saving and restoring job by yourself. It may be a night mare when you have tons customized dialogs. I have not tried the complex dialog (has input EdiText, listView, say). In this way, I'd like to warn users: Never rotate the screen when inputing your info in the dialog... OR, lock the rotation dynamically when showing the dialog.
Today randomly my phone has stopped rotating when in any application, from the browser to messages to mail. I don't know what could have caused this, as I have been using it normal ever since I got it and not messed with anything. Running stock froyo, does anyone know of this and if there is a way to fix? I already tried disabling and enabling autorotate from the settings off and on a couple of times and nothing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIt is so strange.when I take a photo in portrait format on my X it looks perfect, fills the screen and is nice and sharp.The problem is when i go ahead and set that photo as my wallpaper.At that point it pulls up this box that forces me to crop it down and this just kills the quality.things look much more blurry and less sharp.What can I do to have the wallpaper look just like the photo after I snap it?

Its a Nexus 4 I cant press the Back, Home, and the switch app soft buttons and also i cant press probably a few other pixels (I cant type SMS because i cant click on the bottom row and so keyboard wont appear).I think there should be some setting somewhere to fool around android to say that my screen size = 9/10th of the current screen size (the bottom 1/10th of the screen should be blank.) my idea is to conect a chinese tablet i have here. the tablet is a 7''. the adapter lets me mount the tablet but i wont be able to see all the screen.

Is there any risk, that in a newer version of Android, some of the default drawables are removed or resized? Or, affect in some negative way, the look of my app? Also, which of the drawables in the Android source code are considered "stable" and should be relied on?
I'd rather not copy the drawables because I think that the look of the app should be consistent with the Android version used. So, for example, for version 1.6 it should use the default Android bitmaps for version 1.6.

I created a little texture drawing class from observing the LabelMaker example in the Android SDK. One thing I can't find however is how to rotate textures drawn with glDrawTexiOES. is it possible? I've just tried glRotatef but it has no effect.
