Nov 6, 2009Love the Droid. One thing that bothers me is the proprietary usb port. I have so many micro usbs laying around and none of them will work.

Motorola Droid X :: Chrome To Phone Not Working
Sep 23, 2010Is anyone having trouble with Chrome to phone? or Fox to phone? It was working like a charm and then stopped sending pages. It happens on every computer I use it on and every browser. All I get is nothing or and error "error can't send page" from a Chrome browser and I actually it the devs page on Fox to phone saying 404 page not found. I've uninsulated and reinstalled both the phone app and the browsers plug ins numerous times. After doing that it may work once but generally does the same thing.

Mar 5, 2010In settings, when i check the the box where the green check mark is suppose to appear it acts like it is trying to connect the bluetooth, but then nothing happens and it again says connect bluetooth.like it did before...im trying to just use my droid as a router for my Macbook via bluetooth. any help? why isn't my bluetooth not only not connecting, but not turning on as well?

Jul 28, 2010I have already done a factory reset once before because the phones ringer stopped working. The "FVE" said it was something I downloaded from the market and basically made me reset. It really is not a big deal to do a reset since all the contacts can get synced to your google account. I just don't want to have to keep doing this fix.

Everything else seems to be working okay. Tried powering off/up, also tried battery pull, still the same.
I'm close to opting for "restore factory settings", but I've spent some time customizing, and that's really a last resort.

Jul 22, 2010On the bottom of the screen, there are three icons, a phone, the arrow for the app launch, and a head signifying contacts I assume. However, while the app launch works fine, no matter how much I press on the phone or the little head, nothing happens. Are they meant to launch the phone and the contacts panes or are they just dummy images? I'm quite confused.

Nov 8, 2010These little bugs are starting to get annoying. This morning no sound on phone. Restart the unit and all is fine. If people had to restart and pull the battery as much on a BB Storm, they'd be complaining like crazy. Actually I rarely had to pull the battery on my Storm. Of course the Storm sat for a long time trying to load a website, but it did.
This thing is starting to bug me. It's official now. Open media and Camera Roll doesn't show it's icon half the time. Start it up and everything on SD card takes a while to show an icon. Go to Market and every other time nothing loads. This little stuff is adding up. Feel free to add your little bugs.
Motorola Droid :: Phone Caught In Rain - Display Not Working / What To Do?
Sep 28, 2010So basically my phone got wet in the rain today. During the rainstorm and directly after, it was fine. A few hours later, while I was taking a nap, the display stopped working. I can still hear vibrations and alarms I had already set, and it still charges, so the SD card and battery are fine. However, since the display isn't working, I can't use it. I can't get at the LCD because the screws in the phone won't budge, and I don't want to strip them.
Motorola Droid.
Would a Verizon store repair my phone? How much would it cost? Anything I can do short of buying a new phone?

Mar 8, 2010last night i tried to install smaked glass 5.0.1. Im not sure why but i couldnt get it to work. i currently have version 4, do i have to delete that off my sd card first? Also when i drag the v5 off my computer into my sd card do i put it in the card root or in the nandroid folder? The only way it shows up is if its in the nandroid folder and i can choose to flash it but it will just say error. Also im not changing the folder name or anything, i dont get it.

Oct 21, 2010Droid X 2.2 OTA Root. My SetCpu isn't working now. I have tried the following unstalling the app, reinstalling the app, clearing the cache, force stop. I can't get for setcpu to ask me for permission for SetCpu. Everytime I press Auto Recommend it just goes into a blank black screen. Relaunching the app does not solve it either.Edit Unrooted my phone and rerooted my phone and reinstall setcpu same issue.I have also removed the root and did a factory reset and then rooted but the same problem. Edit Added some logcat if anyone can understand them.

Oct 15, 2010Any ideas here? My phone has been acting up lately so I did a factory reset. So far so good with the exception of my 3G. It won't turn on. put the mobile widget back on and it stays in the "on" position, but no mobile network. Went into settings/wireless&networks, scrolled down to mobile network. It says turning on..., but it's not doing anything and won't let me check or unchecked the box. When I touch the screen it just highlights it. I'm really starting to hate this phone.
