So messing around with Froyo I noticed that if you go into application management there is an option to "Move to SDCard". The problem is that none of my apps allow me to move it to the sdcard. Does anyone know how to get this working?

I used the option in batching Titanium Backup to move apps and data to my sdcard to save some space. I've decided I want to move it back so that it's available when I press the Launcher. I know where it's stored on the sdcard and I have root explorer, but I'm just not sure which folder to move it back to in the first place. which folder houses all the apps that are currently available via the Launcher?

View 19 Replies View Relatedi dont know if i have a problem or this is just new or even if theres setting ai could change when i end certain apps in advanced task killer then i go back to them they are where i last off like in browser it would be at the last site i went to even though i ended the browser i dont actually like that it does this same thing in other apps such as my twitter and facebook apps i end them but when i open again there where i left off.

For the record, to go back stock all I have to do is plug my phone in, flash 2.0.1 with RSDlite and download the OTA. right?? I mean when VZW puts out the real 2.2, I assume if I went to that I would be at a disadvantage? I see a lot of people with the processor speed on their home page. How do I get that there? Things like, skype, google search, and contacts for example. Any way to keep these from autostarting every 5 seconds... its like they start immediately after I kill them.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIm having a problem with boot looping on my rooted and rom'd droid. I dont know what happens to make it occur but sometimes after just running the phone it will start and I cant get it to stop.
What happens is:
1: Anytime i re-mount my SDcard
2: any time i boot
It will sit there and boot loop. Remounting the card causes the phone to crash to boot animation, and when it trys to start it show 'scanning SDcard" or whatever and then crashes... on the 3rd or 4th time it finally will get working. But it extremely annoying when your adding appps or working on the phone during a call. Does anyone know why this happens?
Somethings i know DONT affect it:
Rom im running - ive had it happen on chevy, pete and adam and stock (FML)
Overclock - Had it happen on stock kernal and OC
Re-Root - Ive SBF'd and it will still occur but randomly
SDcard errors - Windows shows no errors on disk
I followed steps 1-3 in the Rooting & Romming for Beginners thread. Everything seemed to go well. I believe I am rooted, and have successfully flashed ClockworkMod Recovery onto my phone. Was in the process of trying to download a new ROM when I noticed that I kept getting error messages that my download directory didn't exist. Then tried to look into my sdcard directory, and it says "empty."

I replaced my original sdcard with a sandisk 16gb card. Everything went well until I started getting these blasted read on errors. Earlymon suggested a fix from another board but I don't have a stand alone card reader so I couldn't do it that way.

Now with Froyo sporting its own Bluetooth voice dialer, does anyone know if there's a way to switch to it? I am running 2.2. My biggest issue with the Motorola bluetooth voice dialer is that'll take up to 30 seconds from the time I press the dial button on my bluetooth device till it'll be ready for me to say a command. Totally unacceptable! Is my only option to go to a custom ROM?

With Froyo, it's now showing as a white keyboard with smaller keys that looks look the Swype keyboard I had originally had on my Droid 1.
