It's done this before and now that I want to take advantage of the 4 docked icons, it's doing it again.
I am going to try a fix permission, but the RAB and LAB show next to the home button, but I can't drag any icons into the spaces allocated for them. The far left and far right are fine, but those are not technically the action buttons.

What is a good way to find what app is causing the phone not to sleep. I charged the phone last night while on, unplugged this morning and according to Spare Parts, my phone has been running 100%. I've also got System Panel Lite and Battery Left, but I'll be damned if I can't tell what the offending app is. Battery is on Smart Mode, Time Outs are set to 15 min for both Off Peak and Peak.
Good news is 9 hours 36 minutes and I'm still at 50% with an extended Battery and I've done quite a bit of Market searching and downloading, had a few phone calls, sent a few texts, checked the news widget, checked emails, and checked the old facepage a dozen times. (slow day at work)
Anyway, anyone have a good way to check for offending applications?
So i think the Weather Widget is already on one of the screens when you get the phone.... i deleted it and then added it to a different screen....
My problem is this: When i go to add a city by name or zip code and hit search, i see the pop up window for searching for a split second and then it disappears and it doesnt come up with any cities for me to select....
so basicly its not letting me add any cities... anyone else having this problem?
I cannot, for the life of me, figure out what's wrong. I've rooted my phone, 2.2 with Clockworkmod Recovery. I've loaded up my sdcard with .zip files of a few ROMs I'd like to try, go through the whole process of loading up a new ROM, and every single time the phone boots back into the stock ROM. I've had some success with loading up the given ROMs in ROM Manager- but I'm trying to install Smoked Glass 8 or Ultimate Droid, and those are not working.

It just freezes my phone
I'm plugging my phone into my computer (Windows 7), but when I try to view sd card contents I am getting "Please insert disk" notification. It recognizes that I have it plugged in and it charges, but I can't access any of my phone files. I was able to do this 5 hours ago and since I've had this phone, this has never happened before. Before when I plugged my phone in I instantly got a pop up asking if I want to see files, but now I can't even access them without that. No idea where this new problem just came from.

You can custom set singe click, double click, triple click, and long click to either pause, skip to the next track, go to the previous track, switch to shuffle, or seek ahead a bit. Also, when using your wired headset in a call, this app allows you to end the call with a long click. I haven't seen any mention of this free app and thought a lot people would like to know.

View 6 Replies View RelatedM Droid X I have and guess everybody else has it to (GPS) icon. My question is if I leave it on do I have a monthly service for this, or is this free from Verizon. I use it a lot when I use the places icon to find stores etc. Then hit get directions and it uses google maps and act as a GPS giving me direction to the place I picked. And another question if that is the case everything that was loaded on the Droid X comes free with no service charge!

View 8 Replies View RelatedI just went from 2.2 leak to 2.1 and then to OTA 2.2.
When I got to 2.2 OTA, I did Titanium "restore all apps with data" (not the option with "all system data").
Now, I have a sync icon in my notification bar that won't go away.
In settings->accounts, I have no accounts at all set to sync (I even unchecked my google contacts and calendar).
I already did one system format (because the first time I restored with titanium I restored system data too and saw in some other threads that could be a cause). After the system restore, but before titanium, I wasn't getting the sync icon.
I can't not use titanium to restore or it'd be a huge task to get things back to the way they were.
i installed 2.1 rom adamz's smoked glass v6.0.1 and now my email icon is gone? i need that because that's how i get notifications for my college email. can anyone help me get it back?

On the huge Droid X screen, this looks amazing and does not look over-crowded at all. Though it doesn't look good in landscape mode, but I don't care about that for my home screen.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a strange problem. I have my GPS turned off, yet the gps icon on the status bar is still on. What's up with that? I verified that the GPS was off in Settings. I turned it on (sucessfully) and then off again (verified) and yet the icon is still being displayed. Rather strange. I'll try a power cycle to see if that changes it.[It is gone after a power cycle. I don't know when it showed up. Perhaps after updating Google Maps tonight].

I downloaded an imagine off Google picasa, it was successful, I cleared it, now every day the icon will appear with the same file name only a different time.
