I am looking for a widget (it could be a Clock and/or Weather or Calendar widget) which also display the time/day of the next scheduled alarm. I tried many of the most popular Widgets apps on the market but I couldn't find any.

When I installed DamageControl v2.08.1 on my cdma Hero the calendar and date are 24 hours off! Time is correct but it's the next day. When I did a back up of this install it even used the wrong date on the backup. I have a bunch of small issues that I think with patience I may be able to work around but this clock/date thing has me puzzled. Also has anyone figured out how to put a custom city in for the weather widget and not one of the ones listed but for example a small town (any town) some where in the USA? I could do this on my 1.5 but this weather widget acts like the clock and you can only use their listed cities.

The widget now when pressed does nothing but only shows current date and day of week. Can this be done? I have tried other programs but they only seem to allow me change the name of the icon. I tried using any cut and also Launcher.

The clock on the phone has the correct time but the weather/clock widget that came with the dinc is still on eastern time. When i tap on the widget the screen it takes me to shows the correct time but when I go back to the homescreen it's back to eastern. Any idea what's going on here?

View 18 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a clock widget that looks good in both portrait and landscape modes. I'm tired of clock widgets that look like crap when the launcher is in landscape mode (or, if they look good in landscape, they look like crap in portrait), like HD Widgets or Beautiful Widgets.
I've only found one widget that changes its layout completely (read: not just stretches in one dimension and contracts in the other) to adjust itself to its new allocated area: Accuweather. See the attached images for what I mean. Notice the layout is completely different, and nothing overlaps/looks stretched/tiny. Both modes look great.
Now, my problem with Accuweather is that I'm looking for something darker, that looks better with the wallpaper. Do you know of some widget that does the same as Accuweather (different layouts for portrait/landscape) and allows customization?
I tried removing it and adding it back about ten times and it still won't show the weather..just says "my location" under the clock. If I click on the clock and load it, I can then click on the clock and it will load the weather screen, updated and all...but it still refuses to load it on the home screen with the time. Happened a few days after froyo update. How can I get the weather back as part of the clock widget??

Email invite messages from Outlook for meetings do not show the calendar detail. Specifically, I can not see the date and time of the meeting invitations. I can perform actions to "Accept", "Decline", or Tentative" the meeting invitation. Unfortunately, there isn't any meeting detail so I don't know when the meeting is scheduled.
This is very frustrating and makes the Samsung Stratosphere or possibly the Android platform not fit for corporate environments. If I can not get this to work I will be switching to an iPhone and I will recommend to my entire corporate enterprise that we avoid Android based Smart Devices.
The Black Berry BEZ environment also provided information on meeting conflicts when you are sent a meeting invitation.
I have a Moto Droid 2.2 with "Alarm Clock Plus v2" set as my clock when in the multi-media dock. The weather information will load the current weather when the application first starts up, however will not refresh.
If I tap on the weather it will open the weather info with up to date info but going back to the clock will still show the old data. By removing the phone from the dock (thus exiting Alarm Clock Plus) and putting it back on the dock (thus running Alarm Clock Plus again) the weather info becomes current.
Has anyone else run into this? I looked in the settings for Alarm Clock Plus v2 and could not find any information on how often to refresh the weather info.
I have the pro version of dynamic notification and I'm trouble getting dash clock weather widget on the dynamic notification screen. I downloaded dashclock, added the weather widget extension, and enabled dashclock in dynamic notification options. But nothing shows up on my dynamic notification screen.

View 2 Replies View RelatedRunning into another issue regarding my S4 here. Before the 4x2 clock widget I had would always be in sync to that of my carrier's time. Now, when I scroll around my phone or go back to check the time or even after unlocking my device, the widget is a good minute or two behind of my actual provider's time. It takes itself about 30 seconds to correct itself, I was just curious if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

I removed it from my screen, and when I put it back, i chose current location and when i see it it only says my location with no weather data and when i tap on it it opens the clock app and I can't get it to open the weather app like it used to.

Ive mounted the phone and looked in the download folder of sd card but nothing is there, and its certainly not in any of my albums.
