So pretty much i got a couple mms messsages sent to me, and when i press download it looks like its doing something, but doesnt actually downaload. soo why is this? do i have some sort of settng turned on or something?

Its a calendar that is very close to the HTC Sense one.I for one missed the Sense Calender and am happy as can be with this update.Not sure what else was updated since the LP site doesnt have the change log up yet but thats one thing i did notice. LP ver 0.7.2.0 is the update ID.

View 16 Replies View RelatedI got my htc desire about a month ago and it was no bother connecting it to the internet...worked great....then a few days ago i dropped my phone in a puddle top first and it covered 3 quarters of my phone i dried it off best i could and it work straight away then went all funny and the touch screen wouldnt even work ...but now after leaving it for a few days its fine works all the same apart from the wifi whenever i try to connect to it it says turning on then 30 seconds later error! yet if i connect to my mobile network internet it works.

I use it primarily for a forum such as this and it freezes up all the time. I've tried clearing the cache and cookies and nothing seems to help. Not sure if I should go with another browser but I downloaded the dolphin one and that did the same thing. Anyone have a clue? Im not pc smart so please talk "dumb" to me if you have any clues!

It just shows the padlock and nothing else.
The default browser loads SSL pages when connected via Wi-Fi.
Opera browser load SSL pages both via the mobile network and Wi-Fi.
I tried resseting to default in the browser but it didnt help.
I find it really odd.
If I uninstall the browser, can I reinstall it from market (I didnt see it there).?
I bought my xperia x10 along 1 week It is awesome and blah blah, but theres something wrong with my battery it just doesnt up more than 50%... sometimes 51% or 53% but no more...And even if it is charging it comes down.... I went to the store where i Bought it and they replace with some new, but it is still the same, i dont know if my xperia is bad as well...I didn't wanted to root it because i'm not sure if I need to change it ..... I'm really dissappointed, anyone have or had this same trouble? I always charge the battery 8 hours...
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy device HTC desire doesnt show SMS sender name upon recieving sms(local sms), instead showing the sender number.I am having this sender in my contact list. There is no issues while recieving international SMS, only having problem with local sms. But when the same person calls me, its displaying the caller name correctly.
What would be the reason?
I am in QATAR where country code is +974.
I tried the following.Contacts saved with the country code(+974)
- then its showing the name when sms is recieved, but call recieving
stopped showing caller name - only number is shown.
One thing i noticed is, while recieving SMS, the sender number is preceeded by country code(+974) while recieving a call only caller number is there.
I follow the instructions exactly on this page (and some of the other tutorials) but they always seem to be missing some key information as they dont work out of the box
I added a bunch of packages that seemed like were missing, but now I'm stuck.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIve implement simple udp server on my Android device.(sdk 1.5) it works fine when i am running a local client on the phone sends through it trigger to my server. but when i try to get udp call from an outside server to my phone, it doesn't work. already make sure the outside server isn't blocked by firewall and it's sending the udp trigger to the right port, which my phone is listening to.

View 7 Replies View RelatedLike the the post says my wireless tether no longer works( at leat not fast ) with any of my 2.2 nandroid backup I have all the wireless thether downloads ( the 2.0.2 and all the 2.0.5 versions ) and they just stoped transfering or transfer really slow. By slow I mean it will take anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute sometimes longer for a page to load. This is the case with all my 2.2 roms Damage Control 3.5, Baked Snack 1.0 and 1.5, Fresh 3.something and even my stock 2.2 rooted rom. This is the case with any kernel and I have been using various Kings, (but tend to stick with Netarchy's kernels) All with the same problem. Everything else works flawlessly.
This wouldnt be a big deal except I use wireless tether everyday for homework so it is a must have for me. I had to use the tether feature on my wifes Palm Pre (you know how that made me feel) I have her phone overclocked to 800mhz and it felt as if her battery was going to melt or explode, which usuall happens if you use it for too long. I had to get an Ice pack and put a towel on it to keep the phone cool while tethering.
I even tried it with flashing new room and kernel and the only app being all the versions of the wireless tether. That still was a no/go.
I however did find a solution but not a good one. I had a nandroid back up of a HTC 2.1 stock rooted rom with Nand unlocked and with the FPS un capped. This however when I look for wireless networks to connect to on my computer, it shows up as 3computer connected together instead of the 5 escalating bars like in the att comercials (dont ban me for that)
but it works perfectly and lightning fast. The version I'm usuing is the 2.0.2 version not any of the 2.0.5 versions.
I know this is a bit drawn out but can anyone explain why this happened? I mean it worked one night and the next it didnt. Or can someone can someone explain why it works on 2.1 and not on 2.2?
I miss some of my 2.2 feature but there are none that I can't live without but I would like to be on the latest software version.
I used Titanium backup last night, I realized that it doesn't have up google accounts that I have synced to my phone. it doesn't seem to backup anything by applications. Is this right?

Normally the notification LED will blink when i get a text while doing normal stuff or nothing at all. But when i am gaming the LED doesnt blink. Has any one have a problem with this? Also, when i open a message from the notification bar instead of the message box in the dock. The dock still displays the number of messages unread even after reading it.

I have a HTC Hero on o2 (an unlocked G2 Touch to be specific) which is set up to connect to my work email using the on-board mail app (the non-gmail one). As I have folders for my emails, I use IMAP both within Outlook 2003 at work and on the Hero. This all worked swimmingly for about 2 months and then recently I have noticed that I have been getting a lot fewer emails both on the Hero and within Outlook. I have also seen emails which I received during the day in Outlook disappearing after about an hour or so. I have spoken to my email provider and they tested it by sending me an email (genius) which strangely is still present in outlook, although it didn't appear on my hero. So in summary, it seems that I have two problems - my hero doesnt seem to download any emails, and my IMAP account is losing emails. I should probably add that my hero is configured to show all emails (irrespective of age or size). I have also checked my webmail and the emails are missing from there.
