the leadbolts app suggestion page shows up every time I install an app from the Play Store. As soon as the install process finishes it goes into Chrome and show the leadbolts page.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a tmobile Galaxy S3, pretty much stock. Ever since I got the recent 4.3 OTA upgrade constantly. Several times per hour, sometimes several times per minute. Sometimes I'll see it appear then flash away and come back while I'm staring at it, making it hard to pick things off the notification menu for all the jumping around.
I did once (months ago) download that from either the web or Google Drive (I suspect the later)... I can't open the file (it says "This Document Cannot be Opened" if I click on it) and the notice comes back. Even if I download another copy, I still get the notice, clearing Drive's cache didn't fix it, neither did uininstalling Drive altogether).
The WiFi on my Nexus 7, 4.4.2. Tablet is acting strange lately. It will randomly disconnect from the current internet connection, and delete the entire WiFi password/login history. I have to fill in the password again for it to work again. Restarting my device didn't solve the problem, and WiFi optimization is unticked.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have updated all my apps earlier today and ever since there has been 6 or 7 apps that are constantly showing the status of installing in the android market. I have had to charge the battery twice today because of this. Is there anyway that I can stop these installs? I am new to android so please be gentle. I have a samsung galaxy s and so far have tried uninstalling the apps it says are installing, clearing the cache, force closing the market, switching phone off and also performing a battery pull.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Droid was acting up a bit today. It was really laggy today so I did a battery pull, after which it was fine. Then tonight on the way home I got an email, read it, and the notification went away, but in my Gmail it still showed "Inbox (1)" but the email showed as read. I synced it twice, but it stayed the same way. When I got home tonight, I logged on to my email and it showed the email as unread. I just downloaded Twidroid Pro and Google Goggles, so I'm wondering which of these is the culprit.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy LG G2 took the update yesterday and the change brought a backup of my sms and phone calls. The calls arent' the problem but the SMS are. I use Handcent as my default, but every SMS is showing in the (stock) email app which is only me work exchange accounts. How do I stop this, work doesn't need to see my texts.
I back up using SMS Backup+ to my gmail and have confirmed those settings.
I am getting 9-10 hours off a nightly charge on my Evo.This isn't lasting me the whole day and I usually run out of juice on the drive home from work.I've tried all the battery tricks to get longer time but no luck. I think the reason for the battery drain is because at work, I only receive 1-2 bars on the 3G network. When I step outside, I go to 4-5 bars.I am blaming the battery drain more on my location rather than the phone, which is OK.Anyways, I have the luxury of sitting in front of a laptop all day.This means I can constantly charge my Evo all day through the USB port. Would this have any bad effect on the battery?This means taking the phone on and off the charge throughout the day. If I leave my desk for 10-15 minutes, I'm unplugging the Evo and taking it with me. This could happen 5-10 times a day.Or is it better just to do a charge 1-2 hours before I leave work to make sure it will last the remainder of the evening?

I'm curious what app is using it.I know i can manually turn off gps but i rather leave it on as it hasn't been affecting battery life too much so far but now the gps icon is on very frequently in the top bar.

Multiple reboots do nothing to fix it.I had a couple of 3rd party widgets installed (Gmail count, and SMS count) so I uninstalled them.Now I only have the Clock/Weather widget that came with the phone on the home screen and Sense just keeps crashing. Force close, after force close, after force close.I will have to hard reset if I can't find a solution.I've changed scenes to one of the stock scenes (HTC or Sprint) and it's still crashing.I boot up, swipe back and forth between panels, crash!

View 34 Replies View RelatedEver since the 2.2 update, or downgrade as I now call it, my phone has been freezing nonstop. I have no clue what's going on. I have very few apps. The only reason I got this phone was because I'd thought it would be better than my old Samsung Instinct, which also constantly experienced freezes.
Here's an in depth look:
Press top button, slide down to unlock but no response.
Home screen, will not respond to touch.
Placing a call to someone, and before they answer, another call will come in completely freezing my phone, hard reset required.
The only reason I switched from the instinct is because I was sick of the freezes. And this phone hadn't done it before the update. Now, since my 30 day return is over, and the update came after the 30 grace period, I'm stuck with this POS phone.
Do you guys have any clue about this?
If not, looks like I'm switching from sprint after my 12 year run with them.
How many MB's of RAM are you supposed to have on the Sprint HTC Hero? After a fresh reboot, my phone is at 62 MB of RAM. Then I use the phone for a couple of minutes (check my facebook, check email, check weather, and maybe send an SMS text) and I'm down to 30MB of RAM, which almost never goes back to anything close to 60's. Is this normal? I feel like no matter how many apps I manually close (minus the essential ones) I am still sitting and very low available memory (that is, if 30MB is supposed to be considered low).Anyone able to shed any light on this? What happened to Hero's 288MB of RAM?

I kill all task and open it again and at least three of the task I killed are running again.. its really sucking the battery life away.. what can i do to make sure these programs close and stay closed? Not only that, but when I try to use Maps, it always says "Location Unavailable" when I try to get My Location. I have restarted the phone to no avail. Any ideas? Any app that will track what app might be using the GPS? I'm an Android newbie (as of getting the phone yesterday), so please keep that in mind

I didn't download any app for this, and my contacts don't even appear in gmail.Anyone know what is doing this? I'm always worried about what apps send all my info out. Something seems fishy. View 5 Replies View RelatedHad my Hero for a few weeks now and overall loving it. Its Orange branded and updated to the latest ROM. Lately I've started to face this problem where Facebook (from Social Networks), keeps getting logged out every other second or so. Most of the times it just won't log-in with a 'Service not available, try again' sort of message. Also if I try to log in from the Contact, it behaves the same way.On the other hand, the Facebook widget and app are connected and working fine. This is really upsetting since I have many contacts on Facebook and having their pictures showing in the Contacts was a pretty handy feature for me.I've already reset it once, but to no avail. My Twitter and Flickr accounts remained signed in, whereas Facebook just doesn't. I've also tried signing in on an alternative Facebook account to isolate the issue, but the result was the same.Would love to hear from folks facing the same thing and what they did to resolve it. I've also put in a message with HTC.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMost all the time i find the Evo lagging and check the processes with Astro's Process Manager. i see i have usually around 45mb. i free up things i am not using but usually these things are not ones that i have opened. Sprint TV, news, etc. when i free up, i see i have about 105-120mb free.. then the speeds pic up a bit. normal? of course, more memory it will increase phone speeds i know. but why is it so low?

4G constantly scans and will not connect. I live in Atlanta 4G was working. I have checked my Mac Address and it matches with the phone. Any help would be appreciated. I have searched but most articles I found were from July.
Also I am on a Mac, I am rooted via unRevoked and use Rom manager to load roms.
I'm a novice Android programmer, and to help me understand how Intents really work, I wanted to put together a small Activity which would let the user call startActivity() with any action and data they want. I tried many different combinations, including "android.intent.action.VIEW" and "http://www.google.com". No matter what combinations I use, I always get an ActivityNotFoundException. Any ideas as to why?

Phone has been overheating all morning. From 8am to 12:40pm until I plugged it on the charger. Now its just warm. The battery completely drained and I never even had any apps running. I used the app killer to make sure I wasn't running anything. I barely used the phone this morning except for three text messages and sent an email. I just got a new battery sent from Verizon, I don't understand why it spazzed out on me.
