General :: HTC Legend - Twitter And Translation Functionality?
Jan 26, 2012I'm interested in having a Twitter app in my HTC legend in order to translate some tweets, if possible Japanese tweets.
Last year I was using TweetDeck wich translated the tweets, even from Japanese in English, but I know don't why, since september i'm unable to translate them anymore.Twitter app on Android with the translation functionality ? (To translate from Japanese if possible)

Nov 30, 2009Anyone get any voice dialing functionality out of this handset? I tried TopVoiceControl but she just errors out after launching it (installed the app, the Texttovoice lib restarted the device and negative). If its already in the phone, well show me the error of my ways because for the life of me I can't find it. Or if anyone has any other voice dialer app alternatives, please share, again I couldn't find one.

Sep 7, 2010The voice call speaker on my Legend has become extremely unpleasant to use for calls. I can only describe the output as scratchy, buzzy or raspy. At first I had hoped it was a reception issue, but since the headset provided works with perfect clarity during a call, I am sure it must be a hardware issue. This issue started 2 months after I bought the phone.I contacted the nearest Bell store (Canadian mobile provider), and described the problem. I was told that 3 other similar cases with the HTC Legend had been received that the representative had heard of.Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? If you sent it away to be fixed, was the problem corrected with no further difficulties?I'm hesitant to pay for the shipping and repair costs if this is a persistent problem or hardware malfunction that is prone to happen time after time.

Sep 24, 2010Is there any way to have a text message cap? I know my friends Desire allows him to make it so each person that texts, only keeps 100 of those messages. After the 100th, the old ones start to get deleted.

HTC Legend :: Text Searching In Browser
Apr 26, 2010I was on google.com (mobile view) earlier using the standard browser and after I had performed a search, if I pressed on the top seach box to edit what I had searched for rather than bringing up the keyboard it scrolls me to the bottom of the page and shows the bottom search box and zooms in quite far. I tested this in both orientations and it still did the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

Jul 30, 2010Anyone having problems with the text application after the recent update? When opening a conversation, it initiates at the the top and I have to scroll down to see the latest text. This happens even though I scroll down, exits the conversations and re-enters. Quite annoying.
The name of the app has changed from Meddelelser (Messages) to SMS (Text). Just s bonus info.

Aug 10, 2010I got an automatic update for 2.1 on my HTC Legend last week, it is now reversing the whole of each thread for text messages. that is it shows the oldest messages first, and i have to scroll through all the messages on that thread to read the new one i have just received. some of these threads are 100's of messages. and i need to keep some of the info on them etc so don't want to delete whole threads. Before the update it showed the newest message first and was great. can't find anyway to change a setting for this.

Most of the messages I send and receive are not conversations, so for me it isn't a good option for me. I already tried it with hand cent, but this also didn't have that option.

Oct 18, 2010When I start the standard radio app, it keeps scanning. in the same time it starts sending text messages that could not send previosly. during al that it also calls a contact for a second. and then calls again and again and again. it all stops when i stop the radio.

It's now version 1.32.161.4 and the root guide at 24/May r4 - HTC Legend rooting guide - Now with 1.31.x - Android @ MoDaCo says 1.31 and below is there any way to downgrade the Legend to what it was before? I think it was 1.21 or 1.23 not sure.
