When I start the standard radio app, it keeps scanning. in the same time it starts sending text messages that could not send previosly. during al that it also calls a contact for a second. and then calls again and again and again. it all stops when i stop the radio.

Does any of you know it is possible to disable the conversation style for text messages in the legend. I really prefer a separate in box and s separate box for my send messages. Most of the messages I send and receive are not conversations, so for me it isn't a good option for me. I already tried it with hand cent, but this also didn't have that option.

How do I resend the exact same text message that I have already sent? I have 'long pressed' on the old message and here are the options that are available, but I do not see resend:
Open Message
Forward Message
Copy Message Text
View Message details
Delete Message
It looks like Forward will resend it but it puts 'Fwd:' at the beginning of the message. So, I didn't know if there was another way that would just resend the exact same typed message without adding anything to it.
Is the FM radio on the HTC Legend built in or is it a new feature in 2.1?

I was on google.com (mobile view) earlier using the standard browser and after I had performed a search, if I pressed on the top seach box to edit what I had searched for rather than bringing up the keyboard it scrolls me to the bottom of the page and shows the bottom search box and zooms in quite far. I tested this in both orientations and it still did the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just me?

When opening a conversation, it initiates at the the top and I have to scroll down to see the latest text. This happens even though I scroll down, exits the conversations and re-enters. Quite annoying.
The name of the app has changed from Meddelelser (Messages) to SMS (Text). Just s bonus info.
How do I make the text message box on my legend larger? Its almost impossible to read an average size message back before sending. The screen is so large and remains mainly un-used. The box used for the text message itself is tiny.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got an automatic update for 2.1 on my HTC Legend last week, it is now reversing the whole of each thread for text messages. that is it shows the oldest messages first, and i have to scroll through all the messages on that thread to read the new one i have just received. some of these threads are 100's of messages. and i need to keep some of the info on them etc so don't want to delete whole threads. Before the update it showed the newest message first and was great. can't find anyway to change a setting for this.

*I've tried using the htc_ime_jonasl_hires_22b2... It would not install on the htc even after I've enabled the IME under keyboard options.

1. Regarding font size. I realize there is no current setting for font size on this phone (that I know of) does anyone here know if the upcoming 2.1 update will include that?
2. I know there is a text size option for the browser. However, it doesent seem to work on most websites I go to (like CNN for example) I try setting it at different sizes and nada. So far my browsing experience hasent been that good because of this (having to constantly strain my eyes looking at website text) Any tips on why the text size option doesent seem to work?
3. is there anyway to increase the text size of emails and text messages?
If I need to paste text from another app in my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy SII, O2, Jelly Bean), like from Google Keep or Docs, into a text message it tends to convert from an SMS to MMS. This leads to a charge for me as my SMS messages are included in my tariff but I have no allowance for MMS messages. I presume that this might be something to do with character encoding or other formatting data that is pasted in, but that is only a guess.
Is there any way to stop short messages from being converted to MMS messages like this:? I couldn't find any 'paste clipboard as plain text' option in Android Jelly Bean.
I just updated my Legend, it said it was to do with the camera. It's now version 1.32.161.4 and the root guide at 24/May r4 - HTC Legend rooting guide - Now with 1.31.x - Android @ MoDaCo says 1.31 and below is there any way to downgrade the Legend to what it was before? I think it was 1.21 or 1.23 not sure.

This is real simple code and it works int he APIDemo (which is where I pulled the code from to begin with). The dialog display just fine with the correct number of radio buttons, but the text for the buttons does not display UNLESS I press/select an item. Then once I let up on the selection it disapperas again. what in the world am I not getting?
