At the top left, what are the little check marks on bar? Also on the power control widget what are the two icons next to bluetooth? Also is there a way to change website shortcuts on the homescreens icon?

Post your icons, or a link you your favorite icon pack be it on deviant art or an app in the market or anywhere else.

There are numerous apps out there like Fake Chrome that will change one specific icon for a specific program.
When I add a bookmark shortcut to my home screen, sometimes the website's favicon is full size and others there is only a small preview of the favicon on a red flag. (How) can I make it so they are always full size?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just got my droid 2. All set up and rolling. However, I am adding shortcuts to my contacts on my desktop (ala the d1) by pressing and holding the screen, then Shortcuts > Contact. I scroll to the contact and select it. and it adds them to the home screen. Unfortunately, it adds them with the WRONG icon. It IS an existing icon for a user just not the user I am selecting. Also: It is only when I add it to the home screen as a shortcut when it gets jacked. Anyone else seeing this or have a solution? Also, I use google to sync all my contacts. I use Gmail to set the icons. There is only a certain size which can be used. but on the D2, the same contact icons/images seem to be blown out. Like I COULD use a bigger size image, bug I dont think that Google allows it? Anyone know what size contact image the 2 can handle and a way to use that image through Gmail? So far, moving from a D1 to a D2Im not completely impressed. but it is faster and works well. except for this issue. And the moto blur crap. Also to note... when using the (HORRIBLE) motorola contact widget the icon/image IS correct. but cmon, is this widget even useful? How many people have only one number? And I need a 4x4 widget for one contact... mobile, home, text, email, etc.. BS. Really the function on the D1 of adding a shortcut to a contact is much better. add em, click the icon, then it asks you what you want to do (text, call, email, talk, etc)... the D2 still does this but you have to go into Contacts and click on the person first before getting the options.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bit the bullet today and got a Fascinate. When I was playing around with the Captivate at the store I noticed the shortcuts when you pull down the notification bar, the ones at the store were silent, vib only, etc.
Now that I'm playing around with the Fascinate I find that its shorcuts are BT, WiFi, etc. Is there a way to change the shortcuts that are displayed when you pull down the notification bar? I can't seem to figure out how to do it.
I just want to switch out one of the app shortcuts on my lock screen with a different app. I've seen apps that change the lock screen entirely, but I'm just wondering if there's a way to change which apps are there without changing it completely?

Recently started happening, after reboot my desktop pic is reset to default HTC wallpaper, and my recent bookmarks are gone from desktop Anyone experiencing this mess? also, old uninstalled app icons are back, but when I try to click the phone corrects itself and says "App is uninstalled". If I fix this by hand and reboot, its back to square one..HTC desktop pic, old desktop shortcuts to uninstalled apps, missing bookmarks from desktop.

View 5 Replies View RelatedTrying to figure out what happened today... I was out riding in the car, and ended up looking up the website for Mini Cooper (miniusa.com). Everything worked just fine on the site, though I was a little intrigued by the presence of some loading animations because I haven't (to my knowledge!) done the required degrees of hacking to get Flash working. I thought that was part of Froyo only, and that 2.1 couldn't play Flash.
Imagine my shock when said website was revealed, when I got home, to be flash-based. What the heck happened here?
My phone is rooted and running a Hydra kernel underneath the stock ROM, confirmed by checking my About Phone just now. I definitely haven't installed any app that I'm aware of that would explicitly enable Flash. So how did I do what I did?

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs anyone else having a problem with their browser hanging to load a website and then the only thing that corrects it is restarting the phone? I have having zero issues with this phone except for this. And if not for this, I would probably rarely restart my phone. Sometimes I will pull up the browswer and the bar will fill with about 75% green and then just stop. I try to relaunch the browser, refresh and all of that good stuff to no avail. Once I restart the phone, everything is fine. I am using the stock browswer by the way. Is this a browswer problem? Should I try a different one? Or is it a phone/software problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThere's a few cases on the Verizon website for the incredible that weren't there yesterday when i pre-ordered. a clear snap on hard case, a high gloss silicone case in red or black a body glove case and a shell/holster case. the snap on one and shell one are the only ones "in stock." also have some privacy screen protectors.i think ill wait until i it comes out officially, hopefully there will be more options.
