Samsung Behold 2 :: Change Name Of Folder / Possibly Icon?
Jun 7, 2010Im trying to create a folder on my home screen to put all the games ive downloaded in it. But when I do create a folder it just says new folder and doesn't have any option for changing the name of the folder. So what im asking is how do I change the name of the folder and possibly the icon? Im running bh_mans r12 galaxy 1.6 rom.

There are numerous apps out there like Fake Chrome that will change one specific icon for a specific program.

Dec 8, 2009I have a sprint HTC Hero and have made a few folders on it. But I *hate* the grey colored standard icon - how do I change this? Someone recommended "BetterCut" which I downloaded...it lets me change the icons for other shortcuts (which is great) but not for folders. I don't even mind navigating to this on the actual android device and replacing the original files with new ones - just someone please tell me how?

Jun 30, 2010I just installed Folder Organizer Lite on my Desire in order to be able to change the icons on my home screen. It worked like a charm, but now I have a question. I am able to edit the name of the icons, for example I have changed Advanced Task Killer to ATK, but I would like to have the option to not have any text at all. When I go to alter the text as usual and just delete the text, nothing changes. So does anyone out there know how to completely remove text from underneath icons?

Nov 26, 2009Is there anyway to create a icon on my Droid desktop pointing to a specific folder on my SD Card. I have a folder where I store all my movie videos that I would like quick access. The Gallery is much too slow having to search all my pictures and videos on my entire 16GB SD Card to populate and it doesn't even display the video name (its difficult to identify movies by the small thumbnail it displays). The best way to launch these currently I find is to traverse the directory tree using an explorer app, but I prefer a quicker method if possible.

Jun 30, 2010I have tried using Better Cut and Folder Organiser in order to change the icons on my HTC Desire. However, when I try and do this for Messaging, Email or People application, it always reverts back to the standard HTC icon.
How have other people got round this? Or is this just a problem I am experiencing? I am un-rooted.
