View 2 RepliesIs there a way to adjust this? I was at a concert last night and tried to record a few clips, and when I got home, everything is muffled as hell. I found someone else who posted a video of the concert and was maybe ~15-20' from where I was at, yet theres is clear. I doubt it was from another incredible, but I've had this issue with digital cameras too. Any way I can fix this so I can get some good clips next time i go to a concert?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there is a way to turn down the sensitivity for landscape rotation. Sometimes when I just sit my phone down on my desk, even if I only turn it a little bit, it goes landscape. It's kind of annoying because then when I pick it up, I have to turn it landscape and back to portrait so the accelerometer picks up that I'm turning it. It seems too sensitive at times.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this is just an issue with my dinc, but the joystick is too sensitive - to the point of being unusable. Every time I try to navigate screens, lists, or text in a message or web site address it acts as if I've pushed it no matter how light I touch it or move my finger across it. Is anyone else having this issue?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI got my Incredible on 4/29, and have loved every minute with it. My only complaint is that when I am actually on the phone, the callers on the other end hear a lot of background noise. The microphone seems to pick up everything. I cannot even talk on the phone if I am in an environment that has any ambient noise because callers are bombarded with the ambient noise. On this note, I was just wondering if there was any way to change the microphone sensitivity and back it off a little bit so that it is usable in environments that contain some ambient noise.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm not sure if this has been done on the other Android phones, but since people are mentioning the flash tends to be too strong at distances less than 4ft. Is there any way to turn the intensity down? I'm not sure if there's an app/hack for that or if it's simply not possible to control that within Android at all.
View 5 Replies View RelatedHow do you adjust the settings in order to send video. I tried sending a 20 second video to my wife's storm and it says file to big to send? I remember my old storm had different format settings but I can't locate anything on the Incredible. If anyone has experience successfully sending video please let me know how you did it.

Right now my two main calendars are red for home and orange for work. I would like to adjust these so there is a little more contrast between these two entries. Can anyone provide insight on how to make this adjustment?

Question is when are these new phones gonna come out and how hard is it gonna be to convince them to exchange it after 30 days. I might just return my phone at 30 days and get the new hardware when it's ready.
Is there a way to decrease the sensitivity? When I scroll a lot of time I always end up selecting something or changing a setting a check or something and have no idea what I changed.I need to turn it down a bit...
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any reason why SQL became case sensitive with Froyo (2.2)? I was tracking down why I have an Error reported which doesn't occur on my 2.1 phone nor on earlier OS version emulation with SimpleCursorAdapter.My bad was that between two selectable databases that one had lower case fields and the other that fields in uppercase. Usually this would make no difference with SQL as it is supposed to be case insensitive according to my investigations.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to increase the sensitivity, when I pull the screen down I have to do it twice before the screen moves, any other movement is ok, its only when pulling the screen down or is this a faulty screen.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I record video on my htc-magic, the sound is recorded very quietly. (is also quiet after uploaded to YouTube etc.) Is there a way to boost the sensitivity of the microphone? Sound is also very quiet when using one of the voice recorder apps. Speaker on magic is fine (if not very tinny), can hear beebplayer, youtube etc. at reasonable level. Also made sure my fingers are not covering the microphone hole (next to USB port)

One thing that has been bugging me is the 4 buttons at the bottom and the lack of sensitivity. I find myself pushing them 2, 3 times to get the expected response. Sometimes I know it's OS lag, but other times i really think/thought it was an issue with the buttons.I changed my default keyboard from Samsung to Android and I think the buttons work great now. Can anyone else confirm? Maybe it's just in my head.

I'm trying to research this topic but there seems to be very little information about this. I can't find any tool, script or custom rom that would allow screen sensitivity to be adjusted.
I found a thread talking about doing it for Liqid's touch using script but that's about it. I took a look on the script and I can't move forward with it as the path's script uses do not exists in my Nexus One. The goal is to make the screen more sensitive then it is as a default.
Thread reference above:
[URL]
Script:
#!/system/bin/sh
sensitivity=25
noise=25
echo "set sensitivity to $sensitivity"
echo $sensitivity > /sys/devices/platform/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-005c/sensitivity
echo "set noise to $noise"
echo $noise > /sys/devices/platform/i2c-adapter/i2c-0/0-005c/noise
echo "done"
For some reason the four buttons at the bottom aren't as sensitive as the touch screen. When tapping on icons on the touch screen, i can pretty much just use my finger nail, but to get the button on the bottom to consistently respond, I have to push and hold with my entire thumb. Anyone else have this problem? Is there some way to turn up the sensitivity?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've hadf my kyocera rise through Virgin Mobile for a little over a year now and for the first time, I'm having an issue. My power/lock button has somehow become extremely sensitive to the point where it's a pain. I can slide my finger over the button to activate the lock/unlock sequence and after I press the button the power off option comes up. If I stick a needle under the button, it stops so I assume something is wedged in it. But No matter how often I clean it out with a needle, it continues to mess up.
