View 4 Replies View RelatedI finally installed bugless beast 7.4 and really like it. I like the multi touch in all the applications but I found that I miss having the zoom buttons in the browser. I like the multi touch for fine zoom control but I like just hitting the zoom button and it automatically fits the text to the screen. Does anyone know of a way to have both? I know you can double tap the screen but I find I like the button better.

I have tried commenting out the setZoom and tried moving the setBuiltInZoom controls to the updateLocation method. I've found a lot of posts in relation to this problem but none that solve it.
I cant figure out why my camera button is tiggering the volume and not the camera. Every time I press it to use my camera it keeps lowering my ringer volume and when im in the camera mode(from app) it wont snap any pics, it just takes me back to my main page and lower the volume. Can anyone help me out?

The only issue I have is I keep bumping the volume buttons. Why don't they have an option to Lock the volume by pushing both buttons at one time? Push both of item again and but unlocks the volume.

1. increase media / ringtone volume
2. pass the event to my application

Any way of completely disabling the physical volume up/volume down buttons (specifically on an SG Mega 6.3)? I never, ever use them, other than to put the volume backup having accidentally depressed volume down! If there's any kind of app or tweak that will disable them that would be great. The only caveat is that my device isn't rooted.

I've had the Telus Desire for just under a week now and everything about the phone was working great until yesterday when the side volume buttons just stopped working. I can't adjust the ringer volume on my home screens, or the media volume when I'm running any apps or the in call volume either. I feel like I've accidentally triggered some volume lock, but I've searched for answers and come up empty. Does anyone have any ideas as to what happened or how I can solve this? They were working just fine up until yesterday, and I don't believe I installed or changed anything since the buttons were working.

Just noticed that android slide has released a version of their Camera ZOOM FX application which has 40 photo FX, geotagging and obviously zoom which I can't do at the moment in FXCamera. Camera ZOOM FX. Just wondering if anyone had a chance to look at either of these apps and which they think is best, because I've been hoping for some new effects for a while and the android slide app sounds worth a look.

However the Camera Zoom FX barcode was not recognized? I've also tried to manually search for this in the Android Market and although there are lots of add ons to the app in there I cant find the original app where you have to pay $1.29 or something. I would really like to get this app as the only slightly disappointing thing for me on this phone is the camera and any way of me improving it would be great.
View 19 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to adjust the volume (ringer/media/navigation) I press the button and sometimes it's okay but mostly nothing will happen for up to 5 seconds and then all of the sudden it'll catch up and shoot right to the end. If I press it repeatedly instead of holding on, it normally takes a few presses before the first adjustment then it'll work pretty much okay but it might do a few moves then stop again randomly. The most annoying time is when I'm on the phone and I can't hear what's being said! I do not want to install a volume control app.

When I try to hit the power button I usually hit the volume button as well because of the positioning so my ringer goes from vibrate to on or changes volume. The power button really should have been up top.
