I was wondering if the Incredible would have a sim card slot as many of the high end Verizon phones do. If not do you know if there will be an unlocked version with a sim card slot and if so will it come out soon?

Does all Sprint HTC Hero phones not contain a SIM card slot, because someone on eBay told me that he has an Unlocked Sprint Hero and it has a Sim card slot in the back!

This phone has the WORST idea for an sd slot.When trying to take out my sd card, i took off the cover that holds the sd card.I could use some pictures on how its supposed to look when connected. I have been trying to put it back on and all I ended up doing was bending it.I got my hands on an HTC Leo Windows mobile 6.5. Best implementation of an SD card slot ever.

My brother say this happend when he imput the SIM CODE wrong many times and eventualy the SIM card auto block for security reasons..The strange thing is the phone seems to be "BLOCKED" too because i put another SIM from the same carrier and the problem persist.

It will only improve responsiveness for catching incoming calls and messages from the network.Each increment in settings doubles or haves the interval time. Slot cycle 0 wakes the device to check the paging channel every 1.28s. 1 is every 2.56, 2 is 5.12s, etc.Only thing you are doing is using more battery.any other observations are a placebo.

I've had a few calls that never rang on my phone. Id like to drop the SCI from 2 to 1, but dont know where to change it.
I've got the MSL for my phone, and tried ##DATA#, Advanced.. but its not in there like most phones.
So i just loaded one of the new ROMs based on todays OTA.
I did the nandroid. I did the titanium. i flashed using rom manager and selected clear cache/data.
ROM loaded perfectly.. and when i went to titanium to restore, nothing was there!
I plugged the phone into the computer, and i can't even view the card.
I can browse the phone's memory, but not the cards.
I'm hoping there's some adb command or something that'll fix this...
Is there a way to move one of the seven "home pages" to a different slot. Let's say, for example, that I have all my pages nicely set up with widgets aligned, etc. Then I decide that I want to get the first page (furthest from the central "home page") to be the second one. Can I move it without having to completely move all the widgets from page to page?

I'm generally wondering if a slot labelled "microSD" will accept a micro SDHC card (as opposed to a micro SD card). I know, for example, that some older memory card readers won't read the SDHC cards, even if they have an SD slot. I'm not sure about the tablets however.
Example of some of the tablets that I'd be interested in knowing this about are: Acer Iconia A700 or A210, and Toshiba Excite.
All the official specs i've seen for the incredible say it supports up to a 16 gig micro sd card (that's what i've got in mine), but i remember reading reports in the indredible early on that said it would take a 32 gig card.

First I restarted the phone with a soft reboot which didnt work, then I did a hard reboot which reset all my settings but still didnt fix the issue. I removed and re-installed the SD card in the slot which also did nothing. The phone refuses to recognize the card is mounted.

I'm an experienced smart phone user(4 generations of Treo's, Blackberry, Moto Droid), but I've encountered an issue that has me perplexed.I loaded about 20 mp3's in a folder I created on my SD card.I immediately checked the default music player and was happy to find that it found and played all 20 songs.I went back to use the music player a day or so later and found it listed all of the newly loaded songs twice.In looking at the details of the songs, I found that somehow a process on my Incredible copied all 20 songs to the internal memory! I was hoping to eventually load about 10GB of music to my SD card with the assumption that I could play those songs directly from the card.But until I figure this out, that obviously is not going to happen.I'm hoping the collective brilliance of this group will explain this unusual behavior and solve this problem.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had to reboot my phone 3 times in the last 2 days because the SD card becomes unreadable. Yesterday I couldn't save an attachment from GMail because it said I needed to have an SD card installed. Then Astro wouldn't let me delete a file even though I was able to locate it. And today my widgets were all screwed up because according to them there was no SD card installed that had the skins. I don't mind dealing with an issue here and there, but there have a been a few occasions where this phone has gotten under my skin. Anyone else dealing with this? I seriously doubt the SD card is bad, although there's only one way to prove that. Is there an app that will dismount and remount the SD card while the phone is running for when these situations occur?
